After choosing between WD Blue, and the Seagate Bara Cuda 2TB, I opted for the Seagate based on price. It was really easy to install and set up in just a few minutes. It was running smooth and quiet next to an existing WD Blue in my desktop PC, until it comes to reading or writing. When transferring lots of files, or opening photos / videos, It makes a bit of a groaning noise which can be a bit annoying. Apart from this, it seems fine. But unfortunately the groaning noise made up my mind to uninstall the drive and return it for a refund.

Good price for a known brand and easy to install however I did need to google what to do next before powering up. The lack of a quick start guide is an omission that should be addressed. If the scoring was out of ten I would be giving nine but with 5 star system I gave it five stars as it would unfair to penalise them with 4 stars for a small omission.

I've had this particular HDD in my PC about 2 years now. It still going strong. I have not any issues with since I purchased this hard drive. I would like to point out that this is not my primary hard drive - I use primarily as a secondary drive for storage, holding various content, some light photo/video editing and for writing documents. For my purposes this has turned out to be a pretty reliable hard drive. Given that it's a mechanical hard drive it's not silent but it's not noisy either. It's pretty easy to live with and not a distraction. Value for money? For me it has been so far. This is a drive I would highly recommend.

Ottima velocità quasi 220 mb/s in scrittura e soprattutto costanti. Dopo un po’ di utilizzo tende a surriscaldarsi facilmente fino 52 gradi con uso continuo in scrittura, perciò è consigliato farlo riposare ogni tanto. Usato con box esterno 3,5 usb
