Lost the remote to ceiling fan to house we are selling. No way to look at old dip switch settings I just went through all possible combinations and like magic found the correct ones ! Remote works perfectly now no need to replace a perfectly good fan. Looks like the original remote except for the logo on the front and functions like the original remote controlling upper and lower lights fan speed and reverse although you do need to make sure fan comes to a stop before reversing blade direction. That is not due to the remote but fan itself. I highly recommend this replacement so much easier and cheaper than replacing the fan.

Works well with Hampton Bay fans that have a fan and a light. Does NOT have reverse feature, even if your old remote works (fan and light controls), but the reverse button on the remote doesn't. Basically, the controller does not do reverse anymore. Other than that - all good. The size and the shape is the same as the original.

Works seamlessly with my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. It's the same remote that I had with a different logo.

I bought this product and install it was work, the design is very bulky and not unique it's not Elegance about the time work after a few months I bought another one before it's very good for a cheap price so go ahead with another one now it's 2 years later a few months ago my lights starts blinking I tried to adjust them the dimmer on my lights but when I turned all the lights and turned it back on and start over the blinking too then it means it doesn't work anymore the problem so I bought from another brand remote and everything is fine now a few months later exactly the same period of time the first one that starts to make problems the second remote I bought but my problems same problem as the first and I talk to the company and he told me it's out of the warranty well this means so when you buy this product have in mind that you pay this price even if it works only 2 years or less

This remote worked perfectly on an older fan that had no pulls, remote only, but the remote was lost. I simply re-toggled the new remote to mimic the unit inside the housing and it worked perfectly. As always, the most difficult part is getting the wires back in, but that is always a little struggle. I would definitely buy this remote again. This remote does not come with a 9v battery.
