Perfect, and saved me over $4k!
Only had a few weeks but so far these are perfect. Smooth motor action, remotes work as expected and transparency + UV block are just right. Description says the Kona is 90% UVA block, which is great given that these are still fairly transparent. The fabric has a high quality look, as does the header.I setup the BroadLink RM4 pro to control these and set the app to have them automatically drop and raise daily, just in the the morning to block the sun. Used 433.075 Hz. Both of these shades took ~30 min to install and setup. App is also linked to Alexa, so I can also lower and raise with a voice command. An incredible value given that we had a local shade company quote this job, they wanted $5,500 for labor & their shades. My whole setup was ~$1,000.Update:Had issues with the Broadlink communicating with one of the shades. Turns out the frequency setting I input was wrong. Had to have the Broadlink learn the remote frequency, now everything works perfectly. In my setup, one shade operates at 433.88 Hz and the other 433.89 Hz. I think depending on the channel you use, the frequency will vary slightly, but enough to screw with the commands. Also, if you’re not using the supplied cable guides (they would look ugly in my setup) and have the shades in an area that will pick up wind you can automate to retract on windy days. I have this setup with an Ambient Weather wind sensor via IFTTT and now on windy days the shades retract.

Pretty Solid Product for a Very Fair Price
I did a lot of research before buying these shades. It was going to cost $900+ per motorized shade to get them through the brands available through Home Depot. I was also interested in integrating the shades into my home automation system, and the interface was not great or reliable through Home Depot. So these seemed like a good bargain in comparison, and the simple remote interface made it easy to automate with a bit of programing and soldering.I got the shades and installed them the same day myself. It requires 2-3 brackets to be installed on the stucco (or whatever you have) to hold the shades themselves. You simple press the shades onto the brackets, and they pop in and stay. There are also two other optional brackets to hold a wire guide to prevent the shades from blowing around in the wind. You then program the remote to control the shades, four shades maximum per remote. You then use the remote to program the upper and lower limit for the shade.I wired an Arduino to the remote, and programmed it to select the correct shade and press either up or down depending on which pin is activated from my home automation system. The home automation system then detects if it is sunny or shady and moves the shades as needed. It is going on three years now with very few issues. On occasion, the shades would get caught on the guide wire, and not open all the way. I think this happened because the weights in the base of the shade were too light. After I replaced the weight with a 3/8" steel rods, it has not happened. The fitting that holds the guide wire rusted after a year. This was easy enough to fix my removing it, sanding it, and painting it. I think if they used stainless steel or just painted it themselves, it would avoid this, but it is a very minor annoyance. I am just very detailed about these things. Most other people would not even notice.

finicky to program but works great
For the price these shades are great. I covered 3 windows with one shade for each and tied them together with one remote. Installation is straight forward. The only critical part is making sure the bottom of the guide wires line up properly. Program the blinds upper and bottom limits was the only piece I had trouble with. Having said that if you call the company they are super helpful. From my experience it is best to delete the limits and then enter new ones. Also the directions say to hold the stop button for upto 8 secs to set the limit. For me it was more like 12 (just keep holding that stop button until they jog at your set limit.

Mechanics good, fabric too sheer
The power roller works well. This sun shade is too sheer and seems to block less sun that described. They need a 100% block out fabric. Had a hard time to set the lower limit using the remote but got it after resetting and adjusting. The wire guide is useful and makes these binds unique.

Installation only took about 45 Mins., using template, that's included, made it simple and easy.
I'm using this power shade to aid in blocking the evening sun on my patio, that faces west. I love power everything, especially remote controlled devices. This shade has done just what I purchased it for. The motor is quiet, you can hear it working, but the sound is not unbearable. There are two ways to mount the shade, ceiling and wall. I chose the wall mount option, due to outdoor rain, trying to protect the motor from wet elements. Great buy and I'm satisfied with purchase.
