Dometic Recon Water Faucet

This Dometic Recon Water Faucet is a huge upgrade from the previous model. First off let me start by saying don't bother purchasing the knock offs that are for sale here on Amazon. I purchased one for $60 thinking I was getting a deal. It lasted less than a week so I did a return and replace and that one did not work at all. So I bit the bullet and spent the $130 dollars for the name brand Dometic Recon Water Faucet. It is really expensive for what it is but let me tell you it works and the quality so far is great. The knock off was plastic and very light. The Dometic is a nice heavy duty unit. The knock off did not have a back flow preventer in it so after you used it the water would drain back in to the tank so when you went to use it again the water had to be pumped back up. The Dometic unit has a back flow preventer so as soon as you hit the button you have water. The two speeds of flow is great on high this thing really pumps out some water. The magnetic base is strong and there is adjustment on the faucet so you can turn and position it correctly for where you have the water hose plugged in. We have it hooked up to our Dometic 11 Liter water container and it works flawlessly. Installation is a breeze and the battery life is great. The only con her is the price but I guess you pay for what you get. I have only had this a week and so far we love it. If that changes I will update this review.

We used this for our first camping trip with about 15-20 people using it for 3 days. We only used one light on the whole battery and it worked great for the whole trip! The only downside is I wish the magnet at the base was a little stronger as it did not stick to the top of the dometic recon cooler as sturdily as I would have preferred, the tubing gets a little weird and when adjusting the faucet will just turn easily.

Love this purchase battery life is awesome easy to travel with, perfect price. And it works as advertised

Second time purchase, they’re great

It works and is more convenient than a different electric faucet I tried which leaked all over. The price is insanely high but it does work well particularly with dometic jugs and it is rechargeable

Don't buy this garbage, it drips all night. Left a big pool of water in my rig. Thought it was an overpriced upgrade to my original, but it's just overpriced garbage....

The Recon 360 Faucet is a great inprovement to the original faucet. The biggest improvement is a USB C charging port. The other major improvement is the rotating base to it is easy to manage the hose direction. It also has a stronger magnet.

جودة عالية جدًا و مزايا استخدام متعددة متوفر فيها درجتين لتدفق الماء وسط و قوية و بطارية تطول ( ما فيه وجه مقارنة بينها و بين المضخات الي في الأسواق المحلية سيئة الصنع المتوفرة حتى من البائعين المعروفين من ناحية ضخ الماء و قدرة البطارية ) و إنارة تنفع وقت الغسيل في المساء و شاحن USB-C و مغناطيس العيوب الي لاحظتها فيها الليّ يحتاج انك تتعامل معه بعناية أو يكون عندك احتياط اللاصق الي جاء مع قواعد التثبيت سيء و لكن أطرف محل لزينة السيارات خذ لاصق و طبقّه مكان الأول و اتمنى مراجعة السعر من شركة دومتيك نفسها مع العلم وقت شرائي لها كان سعرها مع التوصيل في أمازون أرخص من الشركة نفسها بقيمها (4) نجوم عشان العيوب الي لاحظتها فيها و السعر المرتفع

Really good quality with great flow rate and with no drips. I got tired of having to replace the usual campervan taps that are generally poor quality micro-switch types. This is perfect!!!

Definitiv eine Verbesserung zur ersten Version. Die Doppeltipp-Funktion hat bei dieser nicht immer funktioniert, wenn der Wasserhahn im Tippbereich zu nass war. Hier nun gelöst mit einem doppelten Druckknopf. Wassersparend und automatisch abschaltend nach einem Liter oder stärkerer Wasserfluss, praktisch um schnell einen Topf zu füllen. 4 LED zur Anzeige des Ladezustands sind nun auch genauer als die unzuverlässige eine rote LED des Vorgängers. Da wir den Wasserhahn stationär in der Hüttenspüle verwenden, ist die Möglichkeit des Drehens des Hahns ein weiterer Vorteil. Ich habe das Uograde nicht bereut.
