Excellent glove. I'm buying more of them.
These are excellent gloves, but their unusual pad placement has been called out by some as being a problem. Reality is the padding is perfect for some types of bikes and ill suited for others.I ride a straight-bar ATB style bike - actually an electric fat bike that I use for 30 mile daily commutes. This lean-over style of straight bar is exactly what these gloves are designed for provided you also have the beaver-tail style ergo grips that are meant for shock absorption over long rides. I purchased these ergonomic shock grips on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013SIMASU and they work fine, but putting your weight on your arms and thus your wrists and palms has consequences no matter what grip you use. I still had numbness and hand pain... just delayed for a bit longer. Check the pics to see how these gloves fit with these grips. Looking at pad-to-grip contact, there's plenty. I was pleased the moment I started my ride and I was able to complete that same regular commute ride over bumpy roads with much less discomfort. The trend for glove design in the present day is to minimize the hand padding. These gloves go old-school in the other direction, If you have the kind of grips and handlebars that let you benefit from this, they are a jewel. On sizing: I ordinarily wear a 2XL cycling glove that is just a skosh larger than snug on my hand. For regular work gloves I wear an XL. The recommendation from the seller is to buy UP a size from your normal gloves and this is reflected in many reviews. However they also provide a detailed sizing chart (going to that extra step is worth an extra star right there). The sizing chart tells me my palm width can fit me into a size L. Knowing my typical hand size, I didn't buy into that, but the 2XL sizes measure so large I went XL and figured I could return it if needed. The XLs fit me literally perfectly, where 'perfectly' is probably a hair snug given I am riding in heat and can expect my hands to swell a bit. So far however, they are fine and I expect them to loosen up a bit as I wear them in.Moral of this story is if you are going to buy a size larger as the Mfr says you should, buy a size larger based on the hand chart they provide, not your normal glove size!

Good enough for light to medium riding.
The gloves are comfortable to wear the padding is of soft rubber material and do absorb the shocks from the ride. They are light gloves and you even forget you’re wearing them. They let air in and your hands are not as sweaty but not totally. They give you good grip on the grips.Easy on but a little tricky to get off and the two finger pulls on them are useless to small. I’m wearing a medium and they fit perfectly and do have a stretch in them. . Not to tight just right. The Velcro strap isn’t that good quality but it’s doing the job right now. will see how they holdup. They look good there bright red and look good wearing them. it’s a good product for light to medium riding.

Check your size carefully
My last pair of gloves fit perhaps a little too tight , so these seam a bit loose to me. I measured my hands by their chart, and a medium was recommended. If you are on the edge between two sizes, if you want a tighter fit I would go with the smaller size. Other than that, I like the color, I like the padding in the palms is because I have experienced numbness in the past with some of my gloves. Hoping these will wear well in the long run.

Really great gloves for mountain biking
I've often had my hands go numb on long mtb rides. For some reason, that doesn't happen with these gloves. This is my second purchase. The sizing instructions were accurate for me and helped me choose the right size. I only gave them 4 starts on "easy to remove" because they're not any easier or more difficult than any other glove I've used. The extra removal straps don't seem to help that much but it is a interesting idea. These are no my gloves of choice for riding.

Different Pad Location is a Plus!
These gloves are great! I was concerned about the pad placement as mentioned in a couple of other reviews but I found that even though the pads are located differently than most other bike gloves, they do a great job of cushioning ( seem to be a nice gel cushion ) and they seem to almost index your hand location on the handlebars so that all tour weight isn't on the thumb joint! The price is excellent as well and I highly recommend these gloves!

Very Durable
These gloves have really exceeded my expectations. I bought them 20 months ago, and at first sight they looked unimpressive so I expected them to fall apart in 6 months. Now it's 20 months later, with a lot of MTB trail riding (1 - 3 times/week) and they're still in great shape. The only thing I don't like about them is the placement of the lower palm padding that's just above the wrist. I guess they're designed for paddle-shaped grips, which I don't have. I use round grips, and that lower padding is useless since it doesn't really come in contact with the grip. Still great gloves though. Comfortable, fit well, machine washable, breathable, light weight, durable and grippy.5/26/19 update since my initial review: I've been using these gloves constantly (1 - 3 times/week) for 2 & 1/2 years and they're just now starting to come apart. I think that's a pretty great life span. I'm very pleased with them so I'm going to buy another pair.

Nice gloves. I really like the padding, because it keeps my hands from going numb as much. The size it a wee bit too small. I had to send return the large, for an x-large size. The 2 little strap loops under the inside fingers, really helps to pull off gloves. When I researched all the Mtb fingerless gloves on Amazon. I found these to be the best match between reviews, comfort, quality, and price.

Much better on the second ride
I have a lot of hand numbness when I ride, even with expensive brand name gloves. These gloves are half the price and seem to work just as well. Can't comment on durability yet but I'm happy so far.My hands were numb quickly on the first ride but just minor changes in my grip made a big difference. Almost no numbness on the second ride.
