The Amplified Study Bible, Leathersoft, Purple, Thumb Indexed Imitation Leather – February 21, 2017

This is by far my favorite study Bible. I bought it for myself for my 55th birthday and it arrived on my actual birthday. The cover has a nice feel and binding and ribbon bookmark are secure. I love the Amplified translation. The indexing is very helpful to me as well and was well worth paying a bit more for. It’s a heavier Bible but not so heavy that I ever hesitate to take it to church with me two or three days a week.

What a fantastic book. The Bible is made very well came in a nice sturdy cardboard box inside the shipping box. The Bible is made very well and was described exactly as it appeared. Well worth the price.

The amplified bible translation is a great translation like the NASB 77, my primary bible translation is and will always be the KJV however I’ve come to appreciate the amplified version and I have ThinLine indexed bible in this translation will short study notes so I decided to go ahead and actually buy a study bible to complement my thinline personal size so far so good, my only problem is the color isn’t purple and black, it’s purple and blue like another reviewer mentioned above but it’s not a big deal it’s the only Bible I have that looks a little girly in my opinion so I’ll probably have it rebound if not it’s definitely staying home all the time cause of the color lol, other than that I highly recommend this bible the layout is great the study notes are not overwhelming pretty conservative as far as I can tell nothing too far to the left, stays on topic doesn’t try to convince anyone that they’re right and everything else is incorrect like other study bibles I’ve read through its a definite 10 out 10 in my opinion and it’s a translation I’ll be sticking with the rest of my life along with KJV and NASB 77 God willing. Hope this review helps don’t shy away from it because of the color, have a blessed day in Jesus ✝️

This translation has been my favored study bible for many years. I was sad when my first copy was damaged by one of my grandchildren. Today I received this as a replacement and it is beautiful.The notes and cross references are helpful when I desire a deep dive into studying the Word

This Bible is well made, the binding and cover are very nice. It feels soft and luxurious.The print size is adequate and readable. An excellent Study or Church Sunday Bible, if you don’t mind purple for the cover.

The Bible says there is safety in the council of many, and get with the wise to become wiser. It says, the beginning of wisdom is getting wisdom. Having this Bible is like having a host of witnesses, a portable pastor, and a room full of wise counselors. If you ever had to clean out indoctrination and bad theology from your system, you know the importance of having the right information and right interpretation of the Bible. This will get you right!
