Did the job as advertised
Arrived quickly. I found that it worked best by using a slightly oversize socket for the glass, and a slightly undersize socket for the snap back. Took a few tries to get the hang of it. User must ensure the indent for the winder is set correctly each attempt. Watch is ticking along nicely now. Very pleased with product and seller.

Only for quartz watch casebacks. Don't try crystals.
The marketing may say otherwise, but this kit just isn't suitable for crystal pressing, only to place casebacks. Why? Because:(1) There is a lot of play (like 2-3mm) in the piston, meaning that you're not getting a perfectly vertical angle, but a slight offset angle when you press—which means crystals not going in, crystals shattering, or crystal gaskets being damaged and no longer watertight.(2) The handle/lever used to apply force bends easily. Couple attempts with a stiff crystal + gasket and the *handle* bends, leaving you with a tool that's no longer good for much.(3) All those discs of various sizes can't be screwed on and off because even though the threads are fairly coarse, the metal is very low-quality. They will all get stripped very quickly just from a few screw on/screw off cycles, and then they're very hard to work with as they just fall off the piston while you're trying to fit a watch case between them.Basically, if you get this, plan to pick a medium sized set of discs and to only use the press to replace watch casebacks snugly. Don't plan to do any crystal work with them, unless you're working on a piece that you don't care much about and will only be using it once (because the forces involved from that once will probably damage the tool enough that you wont want/be able to use it again).

Glad to have this!
Bought a watch from Amazon that came with an extra battery. This kit was great. Saves me a lot of money & the trouble of going to the jeweler’s.

use to close the watch battery back case.
Have you ever replaced a watch battery and then try to put the case back on. OMG it is almost impossible, but with this tool , all you do is find the adapter for your watch cover, place it onto the press push down, and the cover is done, Save money and you get your moneys worth on its first use. I have many watches, so one day I replaced about 12 batteries , in about 2 hours, and after buying the large assortment of watch batteries from Amazon {about $8.99} and the Press for less then $23.00 I did all the watches, That is a lot of money saved.

No directions! Okay for a cheap watch but would not recommend for a valued watch.
Okay, so this thing came with no directions. I went searching through MANY YouTube videos to try to figure out how to work it. All seemed to jump over the key part about how do you figure out which die to use and what goes with what. After just about pulling my hair out and ready to through the watch away, I finally got it by trial and error. Do I like this thing? I guessed it saved me from paying someone to change the battery. If I can use it again in the future I will earn my money back on it. Would I recommend it? Maybe get a better brand. Besides no directions, the screws are kind of crooked and the dies don't fit in straight. I used this to get the back on a cheap Timex. I probably would not risk using it on a more costly watch.

It works fine.. But you get what you pay for.
My wife had a pile of watches she loved, all with dead batteries. My regular watch kit could get the backs off, but not on. This thing does the trick... But it requires a little messing around.... It's cheap Chinese castings don't give great alignment so you have to pay attention... But it works.
