Some of the methodology and dissection of hypotheses that have been disproven was a little overdone but overall the tone and scope of the book are great background that is hugely relevant.

Very informative. I got this to read for a Paleoclimatology class and the content is in-depth enough at the beginning to get a good grasp on the concept while allowing more to be explained later in the chapter.

Good condition

I am disappointed again at the lack of accessibility options with kindle format textbooks. I cant even use this because of the lack of text to speak function even when I use my screen readers. I have talked to support many times over they YEARS. I have been a great customer with amazon. but you don't seem to care about me.

Good coverage of current theories and well presented evidence from earlier geological times. Weaknesses in theories and areas of uncertainty are identified. It is structured in a way that tries to establish the longer term influences before getting into the short term variations in climate.

Book is basically falling apart. A bit overused

Very comprehensive and competent. If everybody who is involved in environmental politics reads books on this level, the environmental debate would make more sense.Little too expensive though.
