Great Sturdy Beach Chair for the Larger Individual
I’ve had many folding chairs over the years that I get and then break before the end of the beach season. This is not the case with the Rio Gear Beach Big Kahuna. I’m a big guy.. approx 250lbs. I’m always afraid that the chairs are gonna rip or snap. This chair is super sturdy. The arm rest is very comfortable with at least 5 settings of recline. It has a nice high back, where I actually can rest my head upon.. I’m 6’1”in height. I like the side zippered pocket and Velcro smaller pocket too. It also has a mesh bag that can hold a drink. It’s easy to fold and carry with the attached shoulder strap. I’m finally able to say that I found the beach chair that’s right for me. I highly recommend this product for anyone on the larger size.

Strong and comfortable!
This chair is sturdy and comfortable! It fits my husband comfortably, and doesn't buckle at all even in soft sand. Hoping it will last long term, but with one summer in we definitely give it 5 stars. We are impressed with the construction and materials used. Highly recommend if you are looking for a sturdy, reasonably priced chair that feels great when you want to relax at the beach!

This chair is for people who are really big
The chair is fantastic and has great stability and durability and is what you would call heavy duty but for the normal person it is probably a little too big and the regular chair is plenty big and would be fine for the normal size individual

Chair breaks after 2 months!
I have had 3 of these over the years, great chairs for size and comfort as I am 6’4”.The recliner function is made of plastic and always goes bad! Don’t buy it!

Works well
Nice chair a little heavy to carry to beach, but at least it's comfortable when I get thete.

Broken on second use
The chair was great and comfortable. On only the second use, out of nowhere the arm snapped. No duress no extra stress was put on this chair and it simply broke

Best Beach Chair EVER!!!
This is my fourth Big Kahuna beach chair from Rio, they are amazing! Plenty of room, nice pockets...the only thing I wish they didn't mess with was the slide out cupholder, now it's a flimsy pocket on the side!

Beach chair with rotten wood
I got these at the end of September so we could use them when we went to the beach after Christmas. 1st time using 12/28/2021 and as soon as my husband was letting it back a little the wood on arm of chair broke. Hopefully I can get it replaced with a new one. 🤷🏻♀️

Not very sturdy
Comfy chair but I am over 200lb, the aluminum supports are pretty weak, mine snapped after a few months of use
