I have already a lot of months with this tortillas press machine, and it works perfect, I was thinking that maybe is going to work only for some little time because is not iron and is not heavyweight, but I am amazed that still perfectly and easy of use. Perfect size

Good
It's a good, lightweight product. The material isn't typical of a tortilla press, which makes it easy to use. I didn't give it 5 stars because when you try to make a tortilla, it doesn't press evenly. It leaves some thinner sides and others thicker than the circumference. I don't know if this is due to the light material or because it doesn't press as well when you use a lever. However, it's a product that performs 90% of its function.

Homemade tortillas, what not!?
I’ve always wanted my own tortilla press but was didn’t want to cross that line considering my mom always made them and saw it as a special treat from her. With my mum being so far away it was time that I started making my own so I got me this amazing tortilla press. It’s easy to use and ready on delivery, made of durable material and does what it says. Looks m like the one my mum has and now I can have my own tortillas anytime. I don’t tell her I have one because I still prefer her cooking.

Works well, handle connector likely not made to last
I had ordered this item a while ago and just made tortillas for the first time last week with this press. I have to say it worked very well, made perfect, round corn tortillas that were absolutely evenly thick. So why the three star rating? The connector piece that holds the handle and connects to the pressing platform appears super cheap and skimpy. I actually didn’t trust it to last thru me making my 20 tortillas. It did, yet I am fully prepared to not last long. I had been on the fence of sending it back when I received the tortilla press but decided to keep it since I won’t be making a ton of tortillas. But… if you plan to use it often, if you plan to make a ton of tortillas for a party… I think I’d recommend a more sturdy, more expensive press.A great recipe for corn tortillas is the following:2 cups masa harina (I love the MaSeCa brand)1.5 cups very warm water1 ts salt.Mix with a fork until ingredients come together, then use your hand. The consistency should be very smooth and no dough should stick to the bowl. If it’s too dry increase the water a little at a time. If the dough is too sticky just add more masa. Use immediately.I actually measure out my dough to about 1.5oz each, roll them all into balls and cover with a moist towel or plastic wrap over the top.Use parchment paper on the tortilla press. I prefer pre cut parchment paper that is made for cookie sheets. I cut this in half width wise and it fits perfectly for the tortilla press.Place the parchment half on the press, set the dough ball on top, cover with the other half and press. You can vary the thickness slightly. The harder you press the thinner the tortilla will become. Of course you don’t want them too thin. Do not unwrap the tortilla until ready to cook. I usually make all my tortillas first and set them all on top of each other still wrapped in parchment. Then I heat my griddle or cast iron pan, unwrap the ones I am using and cook one to three at a time depending on pan size. I do not use oil, just heat my tortillas flipping over every 30 seconds until the bubble up, the keep them warm in an over covered with aluminum foil until ready to use.

Heavy-Duty Tortilla Press – Easy to Use and Delivers Perfect Tortillas Every Time!
I’ve been using this tortilla press for a few months now, and I’m honestly impressed with its durability and performance. The build quality is excellent — it's made of solid, heavy-duty material (likely cast iron or aluminum depending on the model), and it feels sturdy and reliable every time I use it. No wobbling, no bending — it’s built to last. From a functionality standpoint, it works beautifully. It flattens dough evenly and effortlessly, producing perfect tortillas with the right thickness in just seconds. The release time is fast, and with a bit of parchment or plastic, the dough lifts cleanly with no sticking — which is a huge plus! The quality of the tortillas it produces is outstanding. Homemade tortillas come out soft, round, and perfectly cooked. The press definitely enhances the taste of my meals since fresh-pressed tortillas are far superior to store-bought. Whether I'm making corn or flour tortillas, or even pressing dough for arepas or empanadas, the results are consistent and delicious. The appearance and presentation of the press itself are also worth mentioning — it has a sleek, traditional look that fits nicely in my kitchen. It’s compact enough for easy storage but also has a solid, professional feel. Whether I leave it on the counter or store it away, it adds a touch of authenticity to my cooking setup. All in all, this tortilla press checks every box — strong, functional, easy to use, and produces fantastic results. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to step up their homemade tortilla game!
