Dr Denti Emergency Repair Kit
I have tried numerous product since the beginning of lock down when my crown fell out. This one is ok. Its a bit fiddly to mix. The small capsule needs a drop of 2 of water to mix and once mixed and used the left overs harden and become unusable. I bought the double pack so 4 small capsules at £13 is a bit expensive considering 1 use per capsule. The cement lasts short periods I'm on day 2 so will wait and see how long my crown actually stays in place.Update when mixed correctly and applied to a dry tooth the product works very well. My crown with post has actually stayed in place for just on 4 weeks now and still not a wobble. Best product I have tried and I have tried a few since the beginning of lockdown.

Does the job but there are cons
Firstly yes this product works and is fit for purpose. I bought it as I have a maryland bonded bridge that likes to fall out every 2yrs or so despite the dentist telling me they are good for 10-15 years. Mine fell out and I didn't fancy a huge dentist bill to put it back in. I called 111 out of hours and the dentist suggested purchasing dental cement so I ran to Amazon to wade through reviews. This was the most cost-friendly option combined with reasonable reviews. It has been just over a week and I am pleasantly surprised. Still in place, still secure, comfortable and able to eat on it (obviously not toffee or chewing gum). I am very happy with this product's performance. Now for the cons and the reason for only 3 stars. The product arrives as a powder in a small capsule requiring mixing. A little spatula is included. The instructions are very clear. Open the capsule add a few drops of water to the powder, close it, shake it, apply the mixture. What they do not tell you is the mixture dries and sets almost immediately so I wasted x2 capsules simply because I wasn't quick enough and the mixture hardened in the capsule! As there are only x3 capsules in a box (I bought the 2 box pack so had 6) you can imagine my frustration. I finally got it right on the 3rd attempt. Note: once in place bite down very hard on a piece of gauze or non linty/fluffy material for about 2 minutes then avoid eating/drinking for 30 minutes.Second con and reason for only 3 stars is the packaging. I'm sure a tube of ready mixed formula or a larger number of capsules for the money would be a better solution. You receive a woefully small amount of product for your money and loss/wastage due to user error/timing/quick setting is inevitable. In conclusion yes this product works and will provide a strong and reliable bond but as above there are cons to consider.Update: lasted 6 weeks and fell out suddenly. I scraped and prodded the cement off of my bridge tooth, cleaned it and repeated the process to cement it back in place. A dentist visit is obviously due but cost is a big barrier.

Real-World Lifesaver for Crown Emergencies
I’ve had six crowns over 17 years ago —some porcelain, others gold alloy—and although I take good care of them, things still go wrong. Sometimes a crown just pops off unexpectedly, often at the worst possible time: the night before a flight, a bank holiday weekend, or when you're far from a dentist. That’s why I now keep a twin pack of Dr Denti Refit on standby at all times. It’s one of those things you don’t realise you need—until you desperately do.The packaging is compact and discreet, easy to store in a bathroom drawer or travel kit. Inside, you get mixing capsules and a small applicator stick, clearly labelled and individually sealed. Each capsule is ready-to-use, activated with a couple of drops of water. I’d recommend using a dropper or syringe for accuracy—tap water works, but purified or boiled (and cooled) water ensures fewer contaminants. Once mixed, the formula quickly develops a paste-like consistency. You have about 60–90 seconds of pliability before it starts thickening, so prep is key. Get your crown dry, clean, and ready to go before you mix. Now, application. I use a dental mirror and latex-free gloves to keep things hygienic. You’ll want to test-fit your crown before adding the cement, as positioning must be quick and accurate. I apply the mixture directly into the crown using the included stick and gently seat it over the exposed tooth structure. Bite gently to ensure alignment, then hold it in place for 3–5 minutes. Avoid chewing for a few hours. If you've got occlusal contact (biting pressure) issues, a temporary adjustment with a fine nail file on the outside surface might be necessary, but usually it beds in perfectly without modification. In terms of performance, this isn't a permanent fix—and it’s not meant to be. But as a temporary cement, it holds strong for 3–5 days reliably, and once lasted me 8 days while abroad. What impressed me most was its resistance to moisture and temperature shifts. I ate soft foods, drank warm tea, and didn’t baby it too much, yet it didn’t budge. Removing the crown afterward at the dentist’s was also straightforward—it had bonded securely without damaging the underlying tooth or crown interior. It’s especially helpful with front veneers or small bridges, where traditional cement can be too rigid or risk cracking. One capsule gives enough paste to do 2–3 smaller prosthetics if timed well. I’ve even used one capsule for a crown and veneer at the same time by mixing in a small ceramic bowl and working quickly.Over the years, I’ve compared this product with alternatives like Dentek Temparin Max and temporary resin beads. While Temparin is great for filling cavities or loose fillings, Dr Denti Refit is superior for structural applications like crowns and bridges. Its bond strength is higher, and the texture closer to professional dental cement. The setting time is also more predictable, and it doesn’t shrink as much when drying. Now, a few critical tips based on trial and error. Cleanliness is crucial. If your crown interior has old adhesive residue, gently scrape it clean before use. I use a cotton bud and isopropyl alcohol for prep, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Dry the crown and tooth base with tissue or a cool hairdryer before cementing—it massively improves adhesion. After placement, avoid hot drinks for an hour. It’s also wise to avoid sticky foods like caramel or bread crusts for the first 12 hours.Storage is easy: once opened, use the full capsule within a few hours. The rest can be stored in a cool, dry place for many months unopened. I once packed a kit for a 3-week trip abroad and thankfully didn’t need it—but it gave me huge peace of mind.Having tested this in both upper and lower crowns, I can confirm it works equally well on molars and incisors. It’s neutral in taste (no strange flavour or bitterness), and I experienced no gum irritation, even with my sensitive oral tissue. I have mild gum recession, and this product didn’t burn or sting, which speaks to its formulation. If you're someone with dental work, this product is essential. It won’t replace your dentist, but it bridges the gap—literally and figuratively—between emergency and appointment. Whether you’re in a remote area, waiting for your next NHS slot, or simply want to avoid the panic of a loose crown during a business trip, Dr Denti Refit delivers. And at just over £5 per unit in the twin pack, it's one of the most cost-effective safeguards you can keep in your dental hygiene arsenal.Final thought: if you have multiple crowns like I do, buy two twin packs. Use one now to test the method in a safe setting so you’re ready when the real emergency happens. Trust me—when that crown comes off at 10 PM on a Sunday, you’ll be thankful you did.

Useless
Useless. This stuff doesn’t hold the crown for long.

Doesn’t last long
Held my crown in for between 1-3 days. I didn’t need to use the full tub as only could use small amount on crown post. Sometimes it would last a few days and sometimes I have to replace it every day. Waiting on dentist appointment so just have to persevere. Life saver when your missing front tooth but wish it lasted a bit longer

Brilliant!!!! This is a must buy.
Thanks to all the other reviews I bought this to fix my crown and bridge back in place. It’s fantastic. I can smile again and Day 4 and still in place and can eat using the teeth with no problem at all. Saved me £300 to be put back on at the dentist.
