Bought these for use in my home karaoke studio, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. These mics have an incredible sound and a very solid build quality -- they are steel and a bit on the heavy side, but I really appreciate that heft and how comfortable they feel in my hand. The receiver can be rack-mounted or stand alone on a shelf, and the range is impressive, especially in smaller spaces. The whole system was extremely easy to set up with output XLRs for each microphone (cables not included). The mics are powered by AA batteries, and I'm super impressed how long they last -- after three months of pretty regular use, I have only replaced them on one of the mics. I would buy these again in a heartbeat, but I don't anticipate needing to, as they appear to be something that will last a long time.

Excellent sounding microphones, well constructed and great range.

We host karaoke and work as event DJs at multiple locations. I have now purchased this microphone system 5 times to cover all our locations. They have worked exceptionally well with good pickup and clean signal. They have an exceptional range from the receiver and work well in large venues where performers/MCs like to roam around. We have certainly had circumstances where mics have failed when dropped (as a karaoke host, it should be expected microphones will be dropped or, in my case, someone thinking mic drops is a cool thing to do) and over the years I have had to replace 4 microphones. What is nice is you can order the individual specific frequency replacement microphones. Highly recommend.

I just received this system on Saturday, June 29, 2019. It was delivered on time in a well protected package. The box is a nice storage box as well as transport box for the whole system. I easily assembled it with only the power cord and the mixed output cable to connect. Installing the batteries in the microphones was simple. That was all that needed to be done. The microphones all connected to the receiver automatically with all 4 frequencies preset and as far as I can tell are not able to be reset. The microphones have a good feel, are all metal and are sturdy and the system is easy to operate with just the power switch to be turned on and the volume controls to be set for each microphone. The range is great. We tested the system with one of microphones at least 100 feet away outside of the room where the receiver was located. Even with the wall being between the receiver and microphone the sound in the room was sharp and clear. We also tested the system with all 4 microphones on at the same time and did not have any interference or feedback noise. I cannot comment on battery life yet since I only used the system for about an hour. My only negative comment is that the microphones are not very sensitive. They have to be held within a few inches of the mouth to get a reasonable audio signal at the receiver. This is probably not a significant issue when the same person is using the microphone. However, I will be using these microphones in a setting used by many different presenters and also as roving microphones in the audience for people who will be asking questions of those speakers, many of whom will not speak very loudly. This wireless system will be connected to a built in audio system through a 1/4 inch audio input jack. I need to have the microphone volume for the Phenyx sytem at maximum and this audio input volume at 100% AND the audio system volume at least 85% to get a reasonable speaker output volume in the room. However, this is workable considering the very good other characteristic of this system for the price. Great value.

Update one year later - Bought in September 2024. They have seen some hard use in our bar over the past year. Dropped and sort of abused by "happy feeling enthusiastic" Karaoke singers these mics have withstood everything. Regulars have remarked how much better these sound then other karaoke mics in use at other bars. The only wear visible is one of the heavier used mics has had its paint worn off which has no effect of course. These mics are definitely worth buying. I took a chance on these and now I highly recommend the Phoenix wireless mic system. The sound quality and durability is equal to that of a Samson or Shure. I have had VocoPros 5900s for years but they were failing and were in the sold frequency band of 600 mHz. I recently was booked into a local club to DJ and to run Karaoke. I decided to try these out there and was not disappointed. Everyone has remarked about how much better these are than the wired mics the club had and how much more professional they look. The battery life is beyond what I had expected. Unlike other mic systems out there that only have an "online" light for the mics, the front panel display of the receiver gives much more information. I highly recommend this system.

This wireless microphone system is extremely well made and feels very heavy duty right out of the box. The metal construction gives it a solid, professional feel, and it doesn’t come across as cheap or flimsy at all. The range is excellent and has been very reliable in use, with clear signal and consistent performance. Setup was straightforward, and everything works exactly as expected. It has great volume! I’ve been using this mic setup with my weekly Karaoke show for 3 months now and I couldn’t be happier 👍 I’ve used other mics in the past that were plastic and cheesy and the batter caps always got stripped - but THESE mics are full metal with an awesome digital display and great sound quality. I’ve gotten MANY compliments from my Karaoke customers on how they sound and I love how the power button is positioned to where no on could accidentally turn off a mic. I usually put one blue and one orange mic marker (2 each included) to mark the 2 mics I turn on for the singers and keep the other 2 off unless I need them for a larger group. I then place the ones I used in the back slots in the box and rotate the ones I didn’t used to the front 2 slots. By rotating the mics this way - I’ve had the batteries last for 2 months for my weekly 4 hour show - absolutely amazing. The green lit display turns to a red backlight when you need to change the batteries so it’s a No Brainer. This system is truly plug and play right out of the box. I use ONE single 1/4” cable to connect to my DJ mixer and use up only one mic channel - BUT - the mic receiver has an individual volume control for each mic - making it super easy to use. You CAN use 4 individual xlr wires to bring each mic into its own channel on your mixer if that is your preference- so these would truly be awesome for a live band on a bigger Mixing board. I believe there is an 8 Chanel option available as well. Now my only challenge is that I need to find a plastic or metal Road case that will fit the inserts from the box that came with this setup. The included box is great but my box got wet and is now falling apart. Once I find a good hard case for it I will be even more happy with it. I STRONGLY recommend this system for any DJ / KJ. Il faut acheter le pack à l'achat un peu dommage. Apres ça n'empêche que le kit est fonctionnel, bon et le son est top pour event et concert amateur/semi pro

Great product, good quality and consistency

J'avais le choix... Soit je reprenais un système Shure à près de 600€ pour deux microphones. Ou je "le tentais" avec ce système Phenyx à 180€ pour 4 microphone. Le but étant d'avoir un son de voix clair et puissant dans une salle de 200 places assises... Le résultat est incroyable, il frise la qualité de voix Shure, aucune distorsion, aucun parasite, portée importante, testé à 25 mètres du récepteur logé dans un meuble avec succès ! La qualité perçue est là également, avec des corps de microphone en alu bien costaud. Le récepteur quand à lui a la taille standard (Rack 19) et c'est top ! Franchement, c'est un matériel qualitatif au vu du prix. Merci Phenyx et Amazon pour cette perle audio !
