The instructions on how to clean weren't entirely helpful until I pulled apart everything and realized it was a diagram of the pump itself, so instructions could be a bit more clear. It also wasn't entirely clear which parts of the pump need to be cleaned. I'm assuming it's all of them. It's kind of a pain to do it, too (though I suspect the hassle of taking everything apart would apply to all fountains, not just this one, so it's not worth taking a star off).Other than that, it works well. As I said in the title, though, it is best to introduce it to your cat with the fountain off. While the noise is minimal, it's still there if you get *really* close to it, which was enough to scare one of my cats.If you make the same mistake, a little bribery works: set some treats near it while it's off a few times, and then set treats near it while it's on. Maybe dip your fingers in and let the cat sniff to show them it's just water. Just make sure to keep a regular water bowl out away from the fountain until they get used to it.Overall, it's pretty much exactly what I wanted.

It's big, but a good size for my 13+ pound cat (he seems to drink a lot). The white is elegant and blends right into my kitchen. The glowing light is a perfect nightlight, so I leave it on all the time. Sturdy, solid, very quiet, easy to clean, and easy to find new filters. I'd recommend to friends (and I have)!

I change these out every couple weeks or so, when I wash the cat fountain. Far as I can tell, it does a good job filtering the water, but I dunno, I don't drink from the cat fountain! The cats seem very happy with it though, and now totally ignore the regular bowl of water I set out for them.

Great buy and keeps the water clean. Do recommend changing the filter monthly for best results.

If you're getting the Lotus Pet Fountain I definitely recommend these filters. Perfect fit and filtration. I know my cats are drinking safe, healthy water. I change my filters every two-four weeks because I have two Ragdolls that consume lots of water. Plus, keeping my pet's fountain clean extends the life of the Lotus fountain. With proper maintenance and excellent filters, the Lotus fountain is humming along nicely after a year and a half.*When changing the filter you can actually see the difference it makes. Quite disgusting to compare a new filter against an old one. I know my cats are getting clean water because I see the outcome. I've included a picture of a used/unused filter. You can see the difference and actually see the impurities that your cat will NOT be consuming. The used filter is above. (Three-week use)**Carbon filters are different from the sponge-foam filter that surrounds the pump. For cleaner water, I use both filtration methods. Sponge filters can be cleaned/reused. I don't recommend cleaning the carbon filters for reuse.

I have a wonder creature water dispenser for my cat and this is the only filter that works for it. I have a purchase multiple times and it keeps my cats, water filter and nice.

I am happy with my purchase. I was having a problem with the Catit fountain as my kitty would paw at it and end up tipping it over. I don't know why, but he never seemed to like it. Your fountain is easy access for him and he seems to drink more water. Oh, the green part in the middle of the flower? He took it out..... :)It's easy to clean and he is unable to tip it over, making for a very happy mom and kitty.Thank you.

I really like the Wonder Creature Lotus Pet Fountain. Not only is it quiet and easy to clean, but the filters are very economical. I love that sux filters come in a package. And the filters are so easy to replace - pop out the old, our in the new. This has been a great purchase.
