I love everything creative and I love a good perfume, and this turned out to be something a bit different from the other creative things I've done in all the best ways. The idea of making your own scent is what makes it interesting. You can mix the different oils to create something unique, which makes it feel more personal rather than just buying a ready-made perfume. Everything comes well packaged and organised, so it doesn’t feel confusing when you open it. There are enough tools included to actually get started properly without needing anything extra. The scents themselves are quite nice and not overpowering. They blend well together and you can experiment a bit to find something you like. I also like that it’s made with more skin-friendly ingredients. It feels gentle when applied and doesn’t irritate, which is important for something you’re using regularly. The small containers and bottles are a nice touch as well. They’re easy to carry around and make it feel like a complete set rather than just a basic kit. If I had to mention anything, the scent doesn’t last as long as a typical spray perfume, so you may need to reapply during the day. It's a lot of fun to use and experiment with, especially if you enjoy making your own things.

You get so much in this kit, from bottles of essential oils, to empty perfume sprayer bottles for you to fill (they look really good too), measuring cups, pipettes, stirrers, screw top aluminium tins, witch hazel extract and a pouch of white beeswax. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the perfumes that you can make smell lovely. It is a great set, well worth it for the price, and it’s something you can easily add to and keep evolving.
