Title says it all really. Attached pics shows bag as new. Some reviews complain about the smell. Bag smells of leather - I'd be disappointed in a leather bag that didn't smell of leather. It is quite strong (but pleasant) at first when straight out of the bag, but smells as a normal leather product should after a day or so. Looking forward to growing old with this bag!

Absolutely stunning bag. The leather is soft and gorgeous, it’s a great size and I love all the pockets and pouches.

Nice snug fit for a laptop or two if you really need to(has two laptop compartments). Main large compartment is in the middle with generous amount of space. Feels and smells authentic and I love it! Some people who comment on smell over here are little to harsh but I understand that it might be off putting to some individuals. If you’re down to earth person and not a princess you will love this bag! Would recommend to anyone who value craftsmanship and perspective. Regards, Martin

On opening I was delighted to see the nice bag in front of me with no visible scars or major blemishes which I was half expecting, it did smell a bit but that didn't bother me as I know this will fade with time. My glee immediately turned to disappointment once I removed the bag from its box. It had been stored for what looks like some years as flat as a pancake, you can see by the very heavy creasing and dirty scar marks on it it the pictures. You can see that the two pockets on the ends of the bag would never look nice or indeed ever look like those in the sales pictures, the bag has been squashed flat right through the middle leaving horrible creases in the end two pockets, not what I'm looking to pay £49.99 for I'm afraid. So bag is very good but pre sales storage is absolutely useless. Zips didn't seem to be of particularly good quality either.

On first glance, the bag does appear rather nice, with its vintage aesthetic, lots of space and storage options/compartments… Look closer, however, and the cheapness begins to show: obviously poor quality leather with this awful sticky/oily residue all over; poor stitching/detailing; black stains on the leather (from the cheap studs and buckles); the green internal fabric/lining stains; one of the zips on mine didn’t close properly; uselessly tiny shoulder strap pad that never stays in place; the excess-strap loop is so loose it can’t hold any excess in place…Speaking of the strap, it is stupidly long, even on its smallest notch; who wears messenger bags so low?!The absolute worst thing about this bag, however, is… THE SMELL.Good god, the smell is horrendous.I can’t quite put my finger on what the odour is…a combination of oil and urine, perhaps? I left the bag outside for an entire day and just could not get rid of the smell; if anything, it got worse! It stank my entire office and I now smell it on my jacket, even after having sent the bag back!Do yourself a favour and fork out the extra money for a decently-made leather bag and not this trash.
