They last for over an hour
I use these pastilles whilst working in a library which is a very dry atmosphere and it is not always possible to drink water. I also use them at night if I have a cough - if you put just one under your tongue after sucking to remove the outer sugar coating you can safely sleep - only one, do not put two or more in at night.
