Best bags ever. Can carry lots of items in 1bag. Very rugged and heavy duty. Plus they fold up when not in use. Handles are strong.

I'll definitely buy again and have bought several times as gifts!Original review (2017): These bags hold a ton of stuff and they stand WIDE open, handles out of the way, etc. when bagging at the store. I have other bags that flop all around and make bagging so frustrating and take way longer than it needs to. This is essentially like putting things in a box but then having a long, comfortable handle so you can carry multiples.For reference, I have the black with gray handles (because I bought two packs and my husband uses them, otherwise I'd have gotten a more girly style!). The bags are REALLY sturdy - I've carried multple 2L of soda in them without problem. I've been using them (A LOT) for months and they look brand new.I love:~ How easily they stand open~ How much they hold~ How sturdy they are - they can hold a lot of weight~ They're attractive~ They are months old and still look brand new~ They collapse so I can have them all over - a couple in the car, a couple tucked upstairs in my house, etc.I use them for:~ Shopping~ Keeping in living room to accumulate things that need to be put away in other rooms~ Hauling random things other places (gifts/food to parties, stuff to work, supplies to school, etc.)~ Small laundry bins - when folding my kids clothes I separate their stuff into different bins~ Car trips - packing things to be easily accessible~ Cleaning out the car~ GIFTS - I'm buying more to give as gifts this year! (And more for me!)Cons:~ I can't really think of anything. Yes, they're more expensive than some others here but not by much and given my experience with them, a couple of dollars is well worth the quality.

I bought these to replace a store-brand shopping box I'd purchased several years ago, and so far it is worth every penny. I think shopping boxes are WAY more convenient than reusable bags, because they fold flat when not in use, but are sturdy and stable when unfolded so that they stay upright and don't jostle groceries around. (No more having to retrieve rogue cans from underneath the car seats. Yay!) They also hold a bit more than most bags. These are a little smaller than what I was expecting, but they still hold a lot, and with a set of 3, they can easily carry the contents from anything but a really huge grocery run. (One side note: Be prepared to have a conversation about what these are, where they came from, how unusual they are, etc., with at least one grocery clerk, and maybe a customer behind/in front of you in line, EVERY time you shop. I think this just goes to show that there aren't enough shopping boxes in circulation yet.) I would definitely recommend these, and even though they are a bit pricier than bags, I think the convenience and sturdiness more than makes up for it.

I first encountered Planet-E Large Collapsible Shopping Boxes several years ago at Wal-Mart (sorry Amazon). But after several years service I needed some new ones. They were nowhere to be found at the place that shall not be named, again. But, happily, they are now available on Amazon. Planet-E Large Collapsible Shopping Boxes are just simply fantastic shopping bags -- they are called "boxes" because they have semi rigid sides with fold down bottoms and can stand by themselves. I cannot tell you how many times that check out clerks at various grocery stores have admired and asked me about where I got these bags. They are sturdy, collapse to be easily stored or carried out for shopping, and they can carry a ton. These bags/boxes will carry six 2-liter bottles of soda. Best of all they stand up by themselves, making packing groceries very easy, and they look good. I had not known, until I searched out the Planet-E website, that these bags were made of recycled plastic water bottles. Planet-E is a French company. I am a VERY happy repeat buyer and owner of Planet E Large Collapsible Shopping Boxes. RECOMMENDED.

I bought these folding reusable grocery bags to replace the "Buy-ology" bags I had from Kohl's (which I consider to be the cleverest reusable bag ever but they stopped making it). They are great for grocery shopping because they are very large and they have supports sewn into all sides which means they can stand on their own and don't flop over when you are trying to fill them. When they fold they basically go flat to the size of the base, more specifically, 11 x 13 inches (10 inches is the height standing up). The arm straps are comfortable and the entire thing is sturdy enough to carry heavy groceries (I'm talking about the milk, soda bottles, and laundry detergent all in one place type of strong). If there is one complaint I can make about them, it's that they don't fold up very small, but as far as groceries go they are ideal. I'd recommend them for any grocery or heavy shopping (Costco, BJ's, Sam's) but not for a casual shopping bag that you might carry around day to day. Great product.

Sturdy, folds up nicely. Because of the shape and design, packing groceries is quick and easy. I like that the bags are more wide than tall because I am only 5’2”, so I don’t have to worry about the bottom of the bag hitting the ground when carrying. I am going to order another set.

Si se siente de buena calidad, son mas pequeñas que lo que pensaba… caben las 3 en un carrito de supermercado comun y sobra espacio.Es practica porque se dobla y no ocupa espacio mientras no estan en uso, si cabe bien cosas como latas, bolsas, paquetes de alimentos… yo no le haria confianza en poner botellas grandes de refresco o contenedores pesados… pero para una compra normal de articulos y comida me parece funcional.

Tamaño práctico, buen material, es tela no plástico. Al abrirlas se mantienen rígidas.Buena compra, llegaron a en el tiempo estimado.

I like that these “bags” stay open while packing groceries. Originally I was disappointed because I misjudged the size, but now I like the smaller size because I don’t overpack & make them too heavy.

Simple to use and very sturdy, these make shopping a whole lot easier! The size is perfect for carrying, and you can stuff a lot in them. So much handier when you get them into the car too, as they don't tip over and spill your groceries out.. and then you have to drive home with cans rolling around your car.There is a cardboard bottom that folds down to make it stronger when carrying heavier items. The handles are long enough to wear on your arm if you don't want to make a few trips. They collapse easily for storage, and fit perfectly in the hidden compartment in my car's hatch. Now I don't have to remember to bring them each time.. and I save 5 cents a bag. The amount of germ laden shopping bags I have in my cupboard at home is embarrassing, and will be tossed out now. Yuck.A great buy for the money at $10 each, as they're great quality.. and should last a a very long time. Machine washable too, which is so important to keep your food as germ free as humanly possible. Highly recommended.. by someone who's gone through them all!
