Cello 40 inch tv
Very good price ,prompt delivery, easy set up.I wasnt expecting a great deal from this TV as I just wanted one in a spare room but I was pleasantly surprised with both the picture and sound quality .For the price a really good buy and perfectly acceptable for everyday use.P.s. I used to sell B & O televisions @£10,000+

Quite impressed.
Wasn't sure about buying this tv, however after some of the write ups decided to purchase. Have had big name brands before, but have to say, this tv is really good. The picture quality was a nice surprise. Cannot comment on the sound because I have a sound bar. What is nice I could connect up my computer. This is not a smart tv however, having a fire stick plugged in no problem, so have prime, netflix, Disney ect through this. 3x HDMI so no issues connecting up PlayStation ect. It does have a build in DVD player, but due to already having one, unlikely I will use it, but nice if you have a lack of space. Overall, not a bad television and certainly wouldn't put anyone off purchasing this tv. Yes, it might not be a big branded name/tv. But, i cannot fault it. The energy rating is also good. So if you want a decent television on a smaller budget this is the baby.

Great picture poor sound quality
It’s a good price tv with a good picture but the sound is terrible we tried a sound bar and it’s now fantastic one of my better buys with a simple remote with the added bonus of adventure player

Seems to be value for money.
I only put this TV in , for my mum, yesterday. After one night and one days use , she's very happy with it. I've provisionally given 5 ⭐ ,but only time will tell about it's durability. It is , however, quite attractive and stylish. The picture quality is very good. It does appear to be very well made.

Picture isn’t good on non HD channels
I bought this tv as the main television so for that it’s no good. The packaging is excellent so no chance of damage, the tv looks great and is really easy to set up.The sound on normal programmes is fine but films or dramas with music it gets a bit distorted. The picture on HD channels is good but not all my channels are HD and on those channels it’s really shadowy and can’t keep up with the movement. This was the same on a recorded programme from an HD channel. The price is excellent and I don’t have thousands of pounds for a tv, if it wasn’t my main tv it would be great

Fantastic value for money, great picture and sound quality. Easy to set up
The TV was delivered well packaged. Just pulled out of cardboard carton and only had to screw in the two stands and attach the mains adaptor. Getting started could not have been easier, just pressed the power button and the first time installation box appeared on screen, just a few clicks and the search for channels began, a minute of so later complete and ready for use. I have Sky, so connected the HTMI cable, and using the Source Key on the remote control, I selected HTMI. From start to finish from box to watching TV took 2 minutes. Picture and sound quality were excellent so I left it on the default factory settings, but there was an option to set my own personalised settings if required. Fantastic value for money

Faulty aerial sockets
If you want to buy a simple TV to watch normal TV and Freeview do NOT buy this one!We wanted a simple large TV for my elderly Mother to use in both her new bedroom and lounge. The idea was just to connect to the aerial socket in each room for basic TV as she only watches channels 1-5 anyway and then she has exactly the same remote control so doesn't have to learn how to use different controls – plus having a built in DVD player was a bonus. However the aerial socket on these TVs is very poor quality and obviously faulty. It took a long time to tune them in but then the signal comes and goes - in fact just by wiggling the lead the signal varies enormously from some signal to none at all. However, we persevered and finally got them both up on wall brackets and working. But then over the following 2 days the signal was lost and finally we couldn't get one working at all.We then tried signal boosters and that made no difference either as the problem wasn’t the signal it was the Cello’s aerial socket. This was easy to establish once we gave up trying as 2 other TVs we had that were plugged into the same aerial output worked perfectly, so it was definitely the Cello TV that was faulty.I tried ringing Cello’s helpline but as it was a Saturday no-one was available to speak to. In the end we had no option but to ask for a refund from Amazon and buy 2 new TVs of a different make. Amazon were brilliant and immediately set up the refund process and have now organised pick up and both new TVs (JVC) work perfectly from the same aerial connection where the Cello’s simply would not work from. It’s a shame as the Cello’s had good overall reviews and as much as it was a nice idea to buy British it was a mistake both in terms of the fact the build quality was obviously poor (they weigh next to nothing) and also the fact that there was no technical support available at the weekends. All in all a very frustrating 4 days!

Better than a smart tv and made in Britain.
I had a smart tv that only lasted 4 years the screen went blue all down to a software problem. I bought the cello and attached an old Roku box to make it smart. It’s half the price of the smart tv but a lot cheaper than a new smart tv, works brilliantly I can’t fault it excellent picture.
