LEVO G2 Deluxe Rolling Laptop Stand with Mouse Tray, Charcoal & Black

This is about three times what I think it should be but I ordered it anyway. For background, I am unable to walk for a few months and “work” from a recliner. This was easy to assemble. It was a little too easy to swivel; basically anytime I touched the keyboard it would swing away. Then I noticed a special washer taped onto the box. After installing it, the stand would stay in place as I typed. The fact that you can change the height, tilt, etc is wonderful. I use it for my small work laptop as well as the monster 17” laptop. There is a bungee cord that you can’t see that holds smaller laptops, while I use the tabs (not sure their real name) to hold the big laptop. Regardless, this is a well-engineered product that is expensive but it keeps me from holding my laptop and looking down at the screen so really superb. I highly recommend if you can afford it.

Took a bit of maneuvering before hitting the sweet spot, but once I got it there, it changed the way I work - absolutely love this! Nice and heavy, stays put, holds my laptop perfectly, and can still type without hitting the bottom “hold pegs”. Have 2 phones on the tray, and the tray lip works great. It has resolved the neck issues I was having, by swinging in far enough, I don’t have the “laptop lean-in”. Great product, made very well, so glad I took a chance on it!

I really didn't want to spend this much for a stand like this, but it was worth it. None of the ones I've tried have been sturdy enough or able to hold my tablet. I gave it four instead of five stars because a couple of the pegs/tabs that hold my tablet or someone's laptop are a little bit lower than the others and swivel freely instead of clicking into certain positions as the others do. I'm a little concerned that means that the tab may break or fall off at some point and I couldn't find any way to tighten it or fix it. If it does break, I guess I'll have to try to find some other way to hold my tablet upright on the stand. Otherwise, I love it. Very adjustable, the arm stays where you put it, and while more visibly intrusive than other stands you might see, it does what you need it without fail.

Holy cow... I love this thing. When I first put it together I thought it looked a bit odd with the weight sticking out and all. I thought the stand would be cumbersome and a pain to deal with. But, I was so very wrong. Before I knew it I was wheeling it all over the place and trying it out with every chair in my place. It's super convenient, way more stable than I thought, and easy to adjust to fit whatever scenario quickly and effortlessly. It's also very easy to slide in and out of the way when needing to stand up / move around. I have a MacBook Air and a larger gaming laptop and it works great with both. I was thinking of getting a desk with wheels to move around from room to room, but that is totally unnecessary now. Everywhere is my desk with this thing. I've used it with my computers, to write on, and sometimes even used it as a quick rolling TV dinner stand. Potential improvements: My MacBook Air doesn't sit back far enough on the stand for me to use the cord. Perhaps in the future additional attach points could be added for smaller laptops. Also, it's not a huge deal, but I would love to have a handle of some sort to wheel it around from room to room if you're using sitting configurations. I have to either raise the stand so I can walk with it or bend over and push it. Maybe something that folds or telescopes so it can be stowed and doesn't interfere with the meat and potatoes of the mechanisms. Just a thought. Those super-duper minor suggestions aside, bravo! This thing is amazing and totally worth the money!

I’ve been looking for something like this for over a year, but all of the options seemed obviously flawed to me, too cheap and flimsy, too immobile, questionable structural components, etc. On a slightly separate note I ended up turning to this company, Levo, for an e-reader and tablet holder a couple of months ago, and was thrilled with the results. On that basis I made the leap and bout this laptop/reading/tablet tray, and I’m glad I did. As it happens I’m writing this review on my laptop, on the Levo stand. First things first, the quality of the construction is very high; parts fit without a bit of effort, the various components are all excellent. The packaging for both of the Levo products I’ve gotten both met an extremely high standard, and the instructions in both cases were trivially easy to follow. They have a number to call if you need help with anything, but I never had a reason to use it. The arms of the stand are all powder-coated aluminum, and they’re light as well as sturdy. The base is a SERIOUSLY heavy beast on locking casters, which is what you need for something like this! With a heavy base, even resting my hands on the keyboard, I never feel like there’s a sense of instability. After less than 10 minutes I had my working laptop stand and no complaints. The mobility of the tray portion is outstanding, and you really can use this every which way. The flip-up tabs at the bottom do the job of keeping the laptop from slipping, as well as the little elastic straps you can use to further secure it. Adjustments are easy to make, in terms of height (two simple paddles lock and unlock the two-stage height adjustment), tilt of the tray (a single knob does that), and even the tension on the swing-arms is easily adjustable with a quarter. The result is that for different uses, you can have a super-stable platform, or one that can be readily adjusted to any angle. For me, this has helped a lot with keeping me from using my laptop on my actual lap, and it looks good doing it. If you found yourself here looking for something to hold your laptop, and you’re not sure because some other models are a little less expensive… just get this one. Yes, it’s a bit more than some others, but it is also MASSIVELY more reliable and useful.

It has a nice weighty base and it moves on carpet with a little effort which I like. The adjustable arm has a nice 360 rotation and you can position the stand in many positions. The biggest caveats is the design that holds the stand platform; it’s not a tight fit nor is it well fit for the bolt holding the platform- there is around a half inch of play; it doesn’t hold the platform firm which is disappointing. I got this to take meetings in a comfortable chair in my office and for my quadriplegic nephew to use when playing D&D. Sadly it only performs one of those tasks as devices need ti be held firm for those with accessibility needs. If you can work with the platform it’s a fine stand. Nothing a 3d printed grommet in the receiver won’t fix; but out of the box it’s a 3 star experience. -- Edit 08/09/2022 -- If you swap the mounting bolt for the stand to the opposite side, it creates better pressure and will hold the platform firm. The instructions illustrate it going in the back side of the receiver, but it clearly should go in the front. I think I was a victim of bad assembly instructions. After Resolving this - it's made a regular rotation in my work week and for my nephew to play tabletop games. 5/5 can recommend having resolved this issue.

I'll start by saying that I did have a little trouble with the manual not being the updated version for the version I received. The service from Levo was prompt, courteous and engaging, not at all the cookie-cutter experience I am used to. The base on this product is very heavy. I can manage on my own, but others might have some issues flipping and move it. That's just a warning. The base needs to be heavy in order to keep the whole thing from tipping. So I selected this specific desk for use with a recliner. There were a lot of options out there but many relied on a certain clearance under the recliner itself or had a table that may or may not allow for much movement of the recliner or offer adjustments. This was not only easy to put together, easier than what the original model looks to offer, but it adjust very easily as well. It fits my work laptop just fine, my large gaming laptop, not so much, and of course the tables and MS Surface work fine. To be clear, this was not meant for my gaming laptop, so that was not a requirement or expectation. It was just there so I tried. The use of it and then sort of pushing it to the side, out of the way is easy. The strap and the button plastic "feet" hold the laptop easily. I've had no issues with slippage or concerns of falling. Yes, I've bumped the thing while rocking, not super hard, but it's not so unbalanced that it just fell. It didn't fall thankfully. Generally this a great option that can be used for standing, sitting or lying in bed. Versatility is one the reasons for picking it! I'd get it again or suggest it to someone who was looking for same, not intrusive and flexible offering.

UPDATE: Almost a year later and still love this stand!! No matter where I am in the house I can quickly change locations (bed to table to island or couch) and quickly adjust the height without much fuss. It's great for online meetings to get that perfect eye-level camera setting. (so you don't look like your sleeping or someone messages to clean your nose 🤩). I don't recommend using the bungee cord ... it doesn't allow you to fully close the laptop and it's so tight that it almost dissected my laptop in half. My 14" laptop fits perfectly and allows me to have full access to my desk. With a little common sense and a wrench (included), it was extremely easy to put together and ready to use within 15 mins. HA, opening the box was much more difficult! With the exception of my irritation on the "bungee" cord support, this is a high quality stand both in metal & plastic materials used. Note: The bungee cord seems to be of good quality too and they provide an extra one. Although I am not heavy handed with my keystrokes there is a slight bounce, but it does not interfere with my typing. For those that are long legged you can rest your feet on the base. Shorties (like me, sigh) can rotate the base to the left or right. Whether you're sitting or standing, changing the height is easy and because the latches snap closed I'm confident it will not disengage. My own personal irritations - The instructions showed multiple pieces that did not come with my product, but then realized they included the wrong instructions. There is a "bungee" style cord secured at the top of the tray (not a fan of it), but it does not allow the laptop to fully close.

I wound up in a neck brace for 3 months due to an injury while on holiday. (long story) As you can imagine, the brace makes it extremely uncomfortable to work at a normal desk. Combined with a comfortable recliner, this workstation allowed me to continue working without having to move my head between the screen and keyboard. Well worth the investment. Not sure if I want to go back to a normal desk once the brace comes off... The only thing missing is a built-in cable management system on the horizontal arm, but Velcro cable ties took care of that.

I know this is an expensive item but it is perfect for my needs. It is a beast of a laptop table. Easy glide or lock the wheels. Adjustable and sturdy it is the perfect table for working on from your sofa, bed or chair. Very impressed. Only slight issue is I can't tighten the horizontal plane knob quite as tight as I would like but it doesn't move a lot so is not a problem. I put it together by myself (70 years old) and it was not that difficult. However it does have a very heavy base so be aware when fitting it that you might need someone to help lifting that part.

The "system" to hold the laptop essentially relies on gripping the screen or hinge area, and it is very annoying to use. I don't trust securing a laptop at an angle on the table with that bungee cord. It seems very likely that the pressure could damage the laptop over time. I'm sure there are much better design options to keep a laptop reliably locked in place. The table itself looks good and is highly adjustable. However, it's quite easy to tip over when fully extended for a taller person. I understand that there aren't many better products on the market right now, but upgrading the locking system to something reliable and easy to use shouldn't be such a big challenge. I would have returned the product, but it's too much of a hassle to package it back up. I bought this table specifically to use while sitting in a recliner, and I hope that in the future, the manufacturer will offer a tray upgrade to replace that annoying cord with something actually secure and comfortable to use.

Very solid structure but the table is wobbly and very unstable when you have to work or type on your laptop. Would have expected something more solid and stable for the price. Good for watching or vedeoconferencing stuff but not optimal for actual typing or working.
