I dont remember if it was stated in the description but it's not motorized and you have to manually move the stepper. It makes it awkward. The screen for tracking my performance never worked and the strap for one of the peddles wouldn't fit. It was just too heavy to repackage and ship back so I just moved it to the basement and ate the loss
