ford/lincoln map software update for 2025
This is an update for your ford navigation system. its plug and play, and takes no special skill to use. you just slide in cd card and it updates. In the description of the item it has a list of all compatible for/lincoln models this will work on, so keep that in mind when buying. The value of this is you not needing to download and load an sd card on your own. which i'm not sure can be done, but in fairness, i didn't look into it. It reliable loaded the new maps and was compatible with my vehicle. For the money, it seems like a good value.

Great solution to avoid the dealer ripoff
Once you locate the sd card on your head unit, pop in the sd card and follow the on screen instructions. Now my car has the latest street map updates, avoiding the high cost and wait times at the dealership.

I'm not a car person at all but this was honestly foolproof. YouTube showed me where the SD slot is (behind the display), I popped the old one out, slid this in, done. My 2015 GPS now shows streets that didn't exist when the car was made. Worth every penny to avoid the dealership headache.
