Intense and durable color.
This dye exceeded my expectations. The color was uniform from the root to the tips and with a spectacular shine. The formula has a soft aroma and did not mistreat my hair; on the contrary, it left it soft and with a feeling of hydration. After several washes, the tone remains vibrant and without losing intensity. An excellent option for those looking for a professional color at home. I would buy it again without a doubt!

Nice color, consistent results. Esthetician recommended.
Couldn't find this locally anymore, so I am super glad it was on Amazon! I have been using this hair dye for over a decade to dye my eyebrows after it was recommended to me by my esthetician. It provides consistent results. It lasts about a month, and saves me so much time. Highly recommend!

Does not work
I don't write reviews for hair dye because it does what it's supposed to do.... dye your hair, except Ion. I bought the sapphire color, bought 2. My hair is already a greenish/blue, but it is currently faded so a dark color like the sapphire should takeUpon opening the product, it smells horrid. It smells like bleach, the whole bathroom smelled. It actually smelled worse that when I actually bleach my hair. Oddly the dye is a cream color so I'm not sure how it works or how it was supposed to dye my hair that blue tone.I left it on for over 40 minutes with no change AT ALL. I've never had a hair dye do that or lack of doing something. I can not emphasize enough how much I DO NOT recommend this product.Update: it actually discolored my hair now that it is washed out and some of my hair is still a faded blue and other parts are yellow. I'm so livid.

The perfect red!!!
I’ve been searching for a permanent red dye for bleached hair, and this worked so well. Instructions said to use 10 volume developer but I only had 20, so I used 1oz 20 volume and 1oz water and it worked perfectly. Will update on how it fadesUPDATE!!2nd picture is ~8 weeks after I dyed it. It stuck around pretty well for ~7 weeks, then got pretty orangey. (I shower in coldish water every other day and swim once a week) It only lasted a little bit longer than my usual semi-permanent, which it a bit frustrating considering this is supposed to be permanent.PROS: DOESN'T STAIN ANYTHING!! decently long lasting, perfect colorCONS: damages hair a bit, doesn't last as long as I'd like, dying process is a bit involvedOverall, it depends on what you're looking for. if you'd rather have less damage, easy application, and are ok with a pink shower and pillowcases, I highly recommend adore semi-permanent dye. If you want it to stick around a little longer and not stain anything, choose this!Personally, I think I'll keep using this, considering I'm going into college and will be sharing a bathroom.

Great on UNBLEACHED HAIR 😊👍
Update: Best dark blue PERMANENT COLOR ON THE MARKET! I wash my hair about 3 x's a week, warm not cold water. The dye does bleed a little during wash but still vibrant. I have tried ALL PERMANENT dark blue hair dye available, this one is absolutely the best. I included a recent photo after nearly 2 months of regular shampooing. Note: did not bleach my hair first; uses 20 vol cream Ion peroxide over natural level 5 to 8 hairWife says: Perfect with 20 vol developer on UNBLEACHED natural hair! No need to bleach first of you want a subtle dark blue. My natural color ranges from grey, dark blonde, to brunette. You can see the different shades of blue on all my different natural shades, that's why there are different shades of blue. I recommend. Much better price inside the Sally's shop, but was nice to be able to order online to try it first before going to the shop TO BUY SEVERAL MORE 😆
