Best heavy rope ever!
Hey this rope is definitely worth the purchase. It's heavy as hell and it holds up. This is a jump rope with the same thickness of a battle rope. If you are currently jumping with a speed rope this will slow you all the way down. You'll quickly find yourself doing a jump in between the jumps just to help you with the timing because it's so heavy you turn it slower. I'm not saying that as a negative I'm just saying don't think you will be jumping anywhere near the same speed as you might imagine. This rope will definitely leave you sore and help you shred those pounds quickly.

Exactly what I was looking for but will tear easily
This is exactly what I was looking for! I tested this for 1 min and my heart was pumping! My only warning is don't use this on rough surfaces. The cover will also tear up on rough surfaces. Use this on grass or on a mat.

crazy workout!
This is my first day using the rope and let me tell you, for someone who jump ropes 30 minutes every day after my lifting sessions, this is definitely an intense and worth it exercise!! my back muscles are so exhausted now but in a good way! i purchased the 9.9ft x 5.5 lb, i’m 5’7 and it’s perfect. it’s definitely not what you’re expecting, if you’re used to simple jump ropes. 10/10

It is a Workout
This is a workout all by itself. I really liked the fact that someone had the insight to provide gloves with this jump rope. Great form of exercise. I can instantly feel my heart beating fast after I finish jumping rope.

Great workout! You’ll be sweating in minutes!
I’ve never been good at jumping rope, but at 51 years old, it seems like a good time to start. If I’m going to do it, I want to burn as many calories as possible in the quickest amount of time. You’ll do that with this weighted rope!First few attempts got me to 5 consecutive jumps. It takes a time or two to adjust to the weight, but once you get a rhythm, it feels good. The wrapped handles feel great and there’s no need for gloves.Tip: I was jumping on a rubber floor mat, which caused a slight drag/slow down on the rope going under me. I moved to a tile floor, which offers little resistance, so the rope slid under me easier. I went from 5-15 reps on a rubber floor to 50-60 reps on a tile floor in no time! At 50 reps, I noticed I was breathing a lot harder and sweat was flying off me!My only complaint is that it was delivered with a one-inch fray in the rope, which isn’t causing an issue yet. I’m 5’10” and the shorter rope length works perfect.Buy it. You’ll be glad you did.

That's one serious heavy-rope
Mine just arrived in the mail. Can't comment yet on its stretch or durability. But I'd guess the durability is great. This thing is a tank -- much heavier than I imagined it would be. And it's covered entirely in a protective sheathing, and came with an additional foot of sheathing that I just slipped on to the mid-section. I don't know how long the sheathing will last, but the material seems very strong. And the rope itself is a monster. I've done heavy-rope jumping with weighed handles before, and with ropes that were thicker than standard fast ropes -- both of which provided challenging workouts. But I've never used a rope like this. Just to look at it is enough to see that it will provide an excellent workout. I look forward to getting started. As others have noted the rope is pretty stiff to begin with. I'm expected it to loosen up through use. Will report back...

Pretty good.
Not as heavy as I thoughtfully it would be but still a good rope. The only thing is your have to position your hand or turn your hand so that the rope doesnt slide away.On the middle where the main part will hit the ground I wrapped it in 550 cord in hope to get longevity from the rope.I did wish that I got just a little longer one .I am giving it 4 stars because of how you have to change your grip.
