Great metal gears! I'm an adult and avid modeler (mostly wood ships) but recently got into these erector-set metal STEM toy kits. I've been giving them various amounts of "steam punk" treatment and these gears are perfect. 200 grams is a LOT and after 4 projects I still have a bunch to go. The gear package included several styles, sizes, and colors which worked for my needs when I wanted to keep symmetry and variety in the models. When I run out I'll buy again. Good for the price. Pretty durable. Got some weight to them but perfect for Ren Fair costume. Not sure if they're nickel plates or something but I did have a skin reaction. They're cute though.

Great variety of gears and clock hands. I counted 134 in various sizes and 8 different colors (silver, gold, pale gold, copper, oxidized copper, dull brass, dull bronze, & black). 2 came stuck together but they were easy enough to jimmy apart with a small blade.
