Original and Works Perfect!
I ordered this GPS to use with my autopilot and as I received it I opened the case to see inside and make sure that it's original Ublox and it was. I used u-center program and as I connected the GPS it gave me 3 satellites in my home under the roof which is great. Also it has external compass that its very necessary, you can't trust internal compass on the autopilot board.

Great price and easy to use
Purchased this for my drone kit. It easily connects right in and the stand has an added threaded hold in the bottom which made mounting it very easy. The stand keeps it away from all you other drone electronics to give a clear signal. The price and functional integration I to the Pixhawk is great.

Compass stopped working after a few flights
Finally got the drone ready, but after a few attempts to fly, the compass stopped working. Gps does worj but compass not.

As expected, easy to "customize"
Included everything shown in the photos, nicely packaged.Disassembled it, so I could figure out the wiring, and connect it up to a Beaglebone Blue (had to change plugs). PCB has informative silk for those "do it yourself" projects.Had some difficulty screwing the pole into the upright position, but found out a set screw was sticking out too far. Because the flat on the pole is tapered, I simply raised the pole a bit and the set screw was able to go in further.PinoutsIf you can't read the photo, the labels are (from top to bottom) SCL, SDA, TXD, RXD, GND, VCC.TXD and RXD are with respect to the GPS chip, so connect RXD to the Beaglebone UART_TX line and TXD to the Beaglebone UART_RX line. VCC was connect to 5V. Signals (SCL, SDA, TXD) are 3.3 volt level.Arducopter detected the GPS and compass on the first try.

Functionality is hit or miss
I had two. One with the kit that never worked and the second worked I believe but I had disable prearm gps fix in mission planner due to the troubles with the first resulting in a crash. The second has not been able to gain a fix stable enough for flight since. For the $60 required to get something working might as well try brand name gear.

Works Wells for gps
GPS function worked well with Omnibus Pro V3 flight controller connected to USART port 6. Take note magnetometer or compass will not work with iNav on I2C port 3 unless you solder in 4.7k resistors to both signal lines to 3.3v power

Faulty Magnetometer
GPS hooked up smooth as butter to my Airbot Omnibus AIO F4 V6 Flight Control but the magnetometer would not work. Tried different settings, calibration the works, iNave just keeps reporting a fault.Gave up and got a Beitian BN-880, GPS and Mag locked the first time I hooked it up. Beitian's cheaper too, but does not have the protective case or mast.
