We all know how hard it is to find jeans that fit, so I couldn't believe my luck with these. On the first try--fully expecting to exchange for a different size--I got the grey ones in a size 12 (my usual size, but you never know with different brands) and they fit PERFECTLY. Great denim quality too. The way these fit around the waist is great because of the band being a little thicker; and the stretchy material makes them super comfortable. I would definitely buy another pair in a different color.

True to size. Waistband is comfortable! I can wear them all day. Mid-rise waist is so much more comfortable than the democracy jeggings, which are too low rise for me.

Democracy jeans fit me well. The top part of these pants fit fine, but the bottom of the legs are tight like jeggings. I was looking for a more straight leg as pictured on the Amazon site. I do recall a few reviewers mentioning the tight legs…their reviews were accurate.

Democracy has the best jeans! The stretch denim makes them comfy and forgiving. They have a great cut to them. Definately my favorite jeans!!!

I’m 5’3” about 148 lbs and my weight is around my middle. I ordered an 8, my normal size and they fit but it was a squeeze (I’m no fan of muffin tops) so I reordered a 10 and they are perfect. They came fast, next day! The waist is high and wide, a bit stretchy but not so much as to need a belt. The length is perfect. I ordered the gray jeans - they look like jeans, not totally gray, have some color changes like if you’d washed them about 40 times. Love these jeans and I’m not being paid to write this.

I love these jeans. I wish they came in a straight leg version. Size down as they fit a bit big. W just ordered 2 more colours.

My third pair of Democracy jeans. They fit perfectly, and because of the elastic in the waistband, they stay put without a belt. They should indicate the inseam length in the descriptions - these for me about 30” - the other ones I ordered were much shorter, but the pic did not make that clear.

I only buy Democracy jeans. I have many pairs. This pair’s zipper will not stay up. Very annoying. I have to MacGyver it with a key ring every time I wear them. I didn’t notice until after I’d washed them.
