Jurassic World Indominus Rex vs. Gyrosphere Pack

When writing this review I had to ignore my distaste for the movie in general and the fact that I know that this toy was developed long before the plot line existed. With all of that wiped away from my mind I have to give the actual toy a 5 star rating. It is made of durable plastic. The mechanism to display "battle damage" appears strong. It has stood up to the almost daily abuse of 4 year-old boy and is still functions. For that I am happy.However, the shooting disc thing on the top of the gyrosphere is a bit odd, considering there was no shooting mechanism on the sphere in the movie. Plus, the generic "army dude" instead of a movie character is a bit disheartening, but all in all for the price my son is happy with this toy. If he is happy, mommy is happy and in the end of the day isn't that all that really matters?Thanks for reading. I hope I help your purchasing decision.

Super fast shipping and toy was brand new unopened and well protected for the shipment to me. I actually used this as a cake topper, it may seem a little too big to use as this but it actually worked out very cool. I would add a picture but i don't see the option.The "car" bubble has a door opening and also a top part that looks as if it was broken into by the dino. The only negative i have with this product is the dinosaur has this side piece that opens to look like a wound, well it's a little bit of a pain to keep it closed. It pops open with the slightest movement of the dinosaur. Other than thatGreat product would recommend and would order again.

Bought this for my grandson....he lives in the USA and so easier to order & send to him rather than high postage from UK.He loved it, played for ages with it and great product.

Great product, my son is very excited with his chomping T-Rex. The little man fits perfectly in the sphere and comfortably in the mouth of the T-Rex 😖. The disc that shoots from the sphere to kill the T. rex does come out with a good amount of flying force so guidance is initially required. It's a little hard for my 5 year old to squeeze the side triggers to get the disc to fly out but other than that he's happy.

I ordered two of these, one for our son and one for his younger cousin. They both loved the dinosaur! The small gyrosphere is neat but the action figure is very small and doesn't tie into the set. Keep it away from young ones as I can see it going into their mouths and it looks as if the arms/legs will easily detach. The dinosaur is about the size of other t-rex's in the Jurassic Park/World toy line, even though I think it's larger than t-rex in the movie?I gave it 4 stars based on the action figure and I think it's a better value at about $15.Overall, it's a great set for kids who love dino's and the movie!

The dino is not that well detailed, and the tail started doing a noise on day two but I convinced my son that it could go away.the sphere was fun for about two days.He now plays with it and make fights with other dinos he has.I bought with points from my credit card so I am ok with it. If I had to pay for it I would think it was too expensive for what you get. An I would rather get another dino from another brand that make realistic copies.

Indominus Rex for my dinosaur obsessed autistic son was perfect size, well made toy. They gyro sphere was redundant, as the Indominus can't actually pick it up. And the shooting disk on the gyro sphere was difficult to use and shot so hard and fast it whacked our cat in the eye and injured it. Poor cat hid under the couch for 2 days. Regardless my son loves the toy, just watch out for the projectile, or take it away if you have small animals.

My nephew saw this on YouTube and HAD to have it. I was so pleased with what was included for the price, and he declared it "one of the best Christmas presents ever!" The character is really big...and the accessories were nicely created, also. Everything seemed to be durable and colorful, and a good value. We purchased another Jurassic World dinosaur for little brother...we are fans of these products!
