I bought these to use outdoors and in, and these work as expected.On well cropped grass, like a lawn or a football pitch, they work well. in long grass they can get a bit hidden, but just get tall cones for that! I was putting markers at 25 meters along a 125m sprint course, so its not surprising if it was hard to see a cone 3 or 4 cones away.I've only used them for 1 session so far, but they look like they will withstand being landed on by athletes in non-spike shoes.

Needed some marker cones so I could do my HIIT sprint training on grass as I get really bad shin splints if I run on a hard surface. These came at a good price and when combined with the distance measuring wheel I ordered from amazon they do the job perfectly.
