Truly amazing!!
A friend recommended this to me when my daughter was about 4 weeks old and my sleep deprivation had hit its peak. My baby was fussy constantly, and I was starting to get smart to the idea that swaddling her wasn't a military form of torture (for either of us) but couldn't seem to do it *just right* with a blanket to make it through the night. I paid for one day shipping (worth every penny itself) and ripped open the package the second it hit my doorstep. It did have a funky smell when It arrived (from the plastic packaging), so it was washed before trying out.Initially it looked a little overwhelming: there are multiple straps and being a newly reformed swaddler, I was nervous about putting my baby in something that looked like a straight jacket. I also was nervous that it would stay swaddled since there was no Velcro. My baby resisted it slightly, so I was gentle and tried to distract her with silly noises as best I could. She was still keeping her arms up by her face at times, so getting the arms down was my biggest challenge. Once wrapped, she resisted a little, but once I gave her a pacifier, she immediately calmed and was asleep within 15 mins. (It had been taking me at least an hour to get her settled down before). The longest strap was also very long and stayed snug the whole night- phew!. Now, I will say that she did not sleep through the night at first... But developmentally she wasn't quite ready for that.. She did however go down MUCH faster consistently and after about a week, would SMILE when I started wrapping her up. I remember watching a video tutorial online where a baby did this, and I actually rolled my eyes thinking my baby wasn't happy like that baby and I would never see that happen. HA! I was proven wrong!I absolutely love this blanket and recommend it to everyone I see. My daughter is now 8 weeks old and sleeps up to 9 hours at night (though generally 6-7). When she has those nights of waking up more frequently, it only takes a quick nursing session and she's back to sleep without any effort from me. No more pulling her into bed with me, no more startling herself awake, no more bouncing/walking/shh-ing for hours... Just a little warm cuddle from mom, maybe a pacifier, and she's out! Please don't let the price tag scare you! Sleep is worth the money!

The only swaddle that would contain my little one...
My baby was born a master in the art of swaddle-fu, the baby art of breaking out of a swaddle. No matter what we used and how masterfully we wrapped her up, 5-10 short minutes later, an arm would emerge from the depths of the swaddle and raise in triumph followed shortly by a battle cry and tears (the tears were mine). I crawled into the pediatrician's office and she recommended these swaddles. At that point, I would have purchased anything to persuade the baby to sleep, so I overnighted one of these from Amazon and it was a game changer.Read the instructions, there are instructions on proper wrapping and yes, in the middle of the night as you try not to jostle the baby too much to sneak in a diaper change without waking - this takes a bit more finesse than some other swaddles, but it stays on. Once I got her wrapped and settled, she didn't break out and we got rest. WE GOT REST.I purchased two of these so we would always have a back-up for the inevitable moment when she peeped, pooped, or puked the current one. If you are desperate for sleep (or want to plan ahead) purchase this. It really made a big difference for us.

Really is a miracle!
This swaddle really is a miracle! My 3 week old daughter was busting through every swaddle on the market. The Halo was no match for her, neither was the Swaddle Me. We tried the Arms Up and she HATED it. The first night I put this on her while she was fussy she stopped crying instantly, and fell asleep all on her own. No rocking or binky required! It does take a couple tries to get used to the wrapping process, and isn't great for middle of the night diaper changes, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Best advice, dress baby in a layette or button jammies, and just pull their feet out of the little pocket for easier midnight diaper changes. You do still have to unwrap the long swaddle part, but it's quick to rewrap that part. I wouldn't say this is helping her sleep longer stretches, but she's getting better and putting herself back to sleep. It's very stretchy, light, and breathable so I don't worry about her getting overheated. Best swaddle we've tried so far.

Its a miracle!
My 8 week old wouldn't sleep ANYWHERE for more than 15 min unless she was being held and upright. She hated being swaddled and would fuss and cry on her back. When i introduced her to the crib I put her on her tummy just to see how she'd do. She loved it, slept for 2 hrs. With constant worry about her suffocating and sids, I just couldn't let her continue to be a stomach sleeper. We conditioned her around the house spending all of her awake time flat on her back. After a few weeks, she would still wake up startled EVERY time I put her on her back to sleep. The first time we used this, I put her to bed AWAKE but sleepy. I sat in front of her so she could see me and ignored her and she fell asleep without a peep, wiggle, moan or cry. She slept for 8 hrs straight. Day 2 she took her nap with this wrap in her crib, on her back and again, fell asleep on her own. I am forever in debt to the creator of this product.

but these blankets are really great. Once you get the hang of wrapping it ...
Expensive, yes, but these blankets are really great. Once you get the hang of wrapping it correctly, we found that our daughter was not easily able to break out. They are light-weight, which is a plus, because I felt my daughter was never going to get over-heated. We primarily used this at naptime, and I think this blanket is the reason that we were able to transition our daughter to nap well in a pack-n-play. It held up to multiple washes.Because the blanket has pockets for the feet, it does have a relatively short lifespan. When you hear "blanket" you think of an item that cannot be outgrown. Not necessarily true for this.

Best swaddle
It's one of the best things I bought for my baby after my sis-in-law recommended it. My baby had a strong startle reflex and would pull her hand out of a regular swaddle cloth within few minutes. Miracle swaddle helped her sleep for 6 hours together when she was 3 months old. It does not go tight around the baby's hips unlike a regular swaddle cloth, thus reducing the risk of hip dysplasia.

Impressive and effective.
We tried swaddling our 5 week old with this and she went nuts. It’s the only swaddle that was able to contain her and keep her arms/hands in place. Unfortunately we found this after letting her sleep with her arms out for 5 weeks and she just would not get comfortable or relax in it. But as a swaddle I was extremely impressed and I really liked it. Just wish we would have found it sooner before she got used to arms out. I would recommend for anyone to try this swaddle.
