Not only where these a fabulous deal compared to what I could find in the store, but these made the most impressive and amazing little rock wall at my mom's house for all the grandchildren to play on. She had a pre-existing wooden play scape and with some master craftsman expertise, my brother in law built a two level rock wall for all the kids that will be used for many years to come. These are excellent quality that attach very soundly and securely for a rock wall we all feel confident is safe for our children to use! Thank you for a fabulous product!

These are great and sturdy for the kids. My son loves his new Rock wall that he calls his climb to Mars. Only issue was during installation. The instructions ask for us to tap the back "nuts" into the pre-drilled holes and then send the bolts through. That did not work out so I found it best to put the bolts in first and then screw on the nuts. After that make sure the bolts and nuts are tightened into the wall appropriately. Otherwise the bolt and "nut" have a very hard time lining up correctly through a 3/4 or thicker piece of wood.

Hand holds were great and did exactly as they were supposed to. Instructions were a LITTLE misleading as they instructed the items are not to be mounted in anythkng ore than an inch, which is correct. What that ALSO means is to not mount them in anything LESS than an inch. I originally installed the weld nuts in the back of 1/2 plywood only to discover that around 3/8 of the bolts protruded so had to add an extra 1/2 sheet of plywood to accommodate the bolt ends so as to not punch holes in the wall. The real reason for the five stars was the customer service demonstrated by the seller (Frustration Free Solutions). I actually over drilled hand hold locations , but was short eight handholds and hardware and didn't want to order an entire bag of 20 to fill the gap. Reached out to FFS and inquired about getting just the needed eight and hardware. They (Kim Graham) responded quickly and got me exactly what I needed and included two day priority shipping. Wall turned out great, kids live it, and customer service was second to none.

These appear to be high quality plastic holds. Mounting hardware could be improved though (eg instead of Allen wrench heads have nuts; allow for easier install using screws instead of nuts (hole heads are too big for most exterior/decking screws).I installed most of the holds on a 3/4 inch piece of treated plywood. The mounting hardware that came with the holds worked okay, but took longer to install than if screws could be used. I liked how the product they came with extra hardware (eg extra washers, which came in handy when a few of the holds were mounted to a 1/2 inch sheet of plywood and the extra washers were used so the bolt did not extend into the other side of the 1/2 inch sheet of plywood) .The directions could be improved but the process is relatively easy to figure out for anyone who is inclined to be handy.The holds were a huge hit with the kids. I would buy again.

Just installed these for my 4 yr. old son and he took off climbing the wall I built with ease. I even used them to install the higher holds and to keep my balance while drilling the holes. I weigh 180 lbs. and they did not move. I would definitely use 3/4"plywood as they suggest because it was sturdy when I finished. The only thing I had some issues with was the bolts could be about a 1/8" to 1/4" longer. At times the thickness of the wood cause the wood rivet to be hard to engage, but still do able.

We bought these rock holds for a wall on a playground we built for our home. The instructions are clear, all hardware and tools are included (minus a drill), the set-up is easy once your frame is prepared. Our kids love having the rock wall as one way up their new tower!

The rocks are sturdy and strong .The 20 pack gave the climbing wall color and the girls love it. The hardware coming with it save time and is s.s. So no rust .I did have to drill one size up hole for ours in to the 1” Pressure Treated

Installed on a single 3/4" plywood with 2"x4" grid at ~16" bolted into studs on top of drywall, and painted the drywall with black chalk paint. Multipurpose, works great for my kids and fun easy project if you have an impact drill. Some of the nuts did bend or strip the wood as I was installing, but easily straitened back out and fixed.
