Women's Angel Costume

I ordered two of these (one for my teen daughter, who wanted to be an angel this Halloween) and one for myself--We're going to be a family of angels this year! Absolutely love this gorgeous dress! I'm a little older, full figured, and ordered the plus size. It is very flattering and comfortable on, and is long enough to wear white or silver pumps with it. It drapes and flows and makes you feel like an angel wearing it--and it is also very modest, which is sometimes hard to find in costumes! We will both wear a full slip (maxi length) with it, just because it a teeny, tiny bit see through, but mostly just by virtue of being white--it's not thin material. You can get a great "Women's Chemise Slip" online for $13 on in LDS Deseret Book Distribution Stores. I also ordered a set of "Adult Angel Wings," here on Amazon for $24.99, size 43"x27", which came with a headband halo that is a tad fluffier and rounder than the one that came with this costume, so I'll probably wear it or may embellish this one with a few more feathers just because we have some, but you wouldn't have to as the one that comes with the dress is pretty and would work just fine, and I really don't think the angel wings are really necessary with the sleeves that look link wings and halo. Ordered them, because my daughter was wanting wings...and you know how that goes. BTW, the wings are a great size and price, very comfortable to wear, and fold in half for easy storage, so it if you want wings...Very happy with this purchase! Looking for a male angel costume now! P.S. The plus size costume's model on the front of the package has on a very pretty choker and the regular "one size" adult costume's model has on the matching set of very pretty earrings. They say on the packaging they are optional accessories, and I'm trying to find out where to order them! Does anyone know? Also, I had to order the regular adult "one size " version of this from Amazon & (shipped from) "Forum Novelties" and the plus size came from Amazon & (shipped from) "Totally Costumes," so you can find the size you want if the size you need isn't available at one place. Both of mine came from the same distributor "Forum Novelties" in Melvile, NY.

My DD is about 5 ft and this did drag the ground a bit but not too much. She wore twice. First wear she spilt chili on it 😝 but I was able to wash it on delicate cycle, hang to dry, and it came out fine! A few seams ripped but we stitched them easily. It is currently hanging in the closet waiting for its next wear. I recommend this product for a comfortable, quick and easy costume.

This is a beautiful dress but the standard size was smaller than expected. I would recommend buying an XL for anyone who normally wears a size 10 or above.

Great product. A bit long which left the hem line pretty dirty, but I used spray and wash and washed it on gentle in the machine. Cleaned up beautifully. Best angel costume I've found. Could also work for a ghost

I like this adult angel costume. I am 5'7" and it was just a smidge long but I could manage it. I thought it was made pretty good.

Incredibly disappointed with the Angel costume. Not only is it too small but the costume is so wrinkled that I'm having difficulty finding anyone who wants to be seen in it on Christmas eve. I hand washed the garment in cold water and then hung it to dry. I tried steaming it. I tried soaking it in cold water and stretching the fabric when wet.... all to no avail. I will not purchase anymore costumes from this company.

I gave this costume 3 stars because the size chart is really off. The quality of the costume is surprisingly nice. I was impressed with the weight. Now, let's talk about the sizes. For reference, I wear a size 40D bra. That means that my chest is 42 inches. I followed the size chart and ordered an XL/ plus size. Now take a minute and look at the dress. Note that there is not much room for an ample chest. Without a bra, I could almost squeeze the girls in there, but it isn't pretty and it's certainly not angelic. You could be pretty big and still wear this if you have a small chest. Because of the design, I haven't figured out a way to alter it so that it will work for me. The halo is nice though. I ended up buying a completely different angel costume and just using the halo from this costume.

This is a really nice angel costume. I dressed it up more with a nice pair of angel wings and felt really good about the way the Plus size fit me. It was a little long, but with my high heels, it was a very elegant look for the Destination Gala fundraiser I attended.
