These are great for old eyes
As I have gotten older getting all the wires to line up has gotten more difficult. With these I can see if they crossed or went in the wrong slot. You can swap them around and be sure the right colors are in the right alignment. Pull through the slack, cut the excess, crimp it and your done. If you only do these occasionally these will save a lot of frustration.

Very convenient to verify color before crimping
These are really nice. Being able to push through and verify visually that the patch cable is correct BEFORE crimping is much nicer than i thought.

Nice in theory
Does not make it easier. Nice in theory.

Worked great!
These worked great. Not sure why some folks rated them poorly. Used them for a large job. No issues whatsoever.

CAT6?
These are for Cat5e cables. CAT6 plugs have the wires off set to accommodate the larger wire diameter. These are straight just like Cat5e they just have the advantage of a pass through connector. I am no Ethernet professional but I have connected 10+ cat 5e RJ45 connectors and have yet been able to attach a plug to a CAT6 wire.

2 of 4 crimps failed.
Interesting concept, but using my regular IDEAL Telemaster crimping tool I had 2 of 4 crimps result in one shorted pair and the other an open pair.As a network installer, the failure rate is unacceptable.I'll stay with regular crimp connectors.
