Great strong product.Good for families that love to cook

Initial thoughts: great product, good quality, looks nice in a modern kitchen. Easy install!
Just came in today and installed the unit. Easy install and setup to get this running. Works like a charm and no issues with the product so far. We'll definitely get a lot of use out of it. Quite like the various burner options and the smaller simmer burner in the middle of the largest burner. The child lock is also a nice add since we have a little one. Overall it isn't fancy, but it is very clean looking and the lights on the knobs add a nice modern touch. Very happy with this purchase and goes well with other GE Profile / Cafe appliances we have.

Knobs are cheap PLASTIC
I cannot believe a cooktop this expensive has PLSTIC KNOBS which are in. Position where touching them, nd melting them, with a hot pan is literally INEVITABLE. In fact, it happened to me the very first time I used it. REALLY?

Works and looks great
Cooktop is great and is behaving how we’d expect. A couple of items to think about:1) it is likely that the top will scratch. If that is going to be an issue, don’t buy this.2) the cook top puts out serious heat. Careful if you have pots with plastic holders, cause they will melt.3) make sure you measure the spot where you are getting the cooktop installed. I was off by a 1/16 of an inch, and ended up having to get the granite slab opened up a little more4) I had an amazon contractor install the cooktop and make sure the gas line was correctly tightened. They were great, and I would use them again if I buy something that needs professional installation.P

Great stovetop
This product was extremely difficult to find at any of the big box stores and through GE. We were so excited when we found it on Amazon. It was shipped fast and in perfect condition. So happy we ordered it!

Gas Lock out, and lighted control knobs
Easy to install, as long as your counter cut out is the correct dimensions. The lock out knob is what had us choose this model, as we liked this feature with our grandchildren, and counter surfing puppy. The light up control knobs, lets you know that a burner is on. This is helpful if you have a pot on low, and can not see the flames. It came with a griddle.

Great cooktop
I just did a kitchen remodel and this cooktop looks great! I just cooked my first meal on it and I really like the lights under the knobs. I purchased the optional griddle, but haven’t used it yet. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase.
