childhood nostalgia
This was my favourite programme when I was a child (many many years ago). It has taken me a while to obtain the first series on disk as it was out of stock. Now I have a full set to add to my other childhood nostalgia collection. My grandchildren are not too keen on black and white screen or the fact that they were string puppets - but this just shows how times have changed. We need more "oldies" available on dvd - I keep hoping the BBC will cater for us "oldies" and put their early children programmes on dvd instead of VHS tape!!I would recommend this to anyone born after 1950 ...

Amazing...... almost as I remembered it.... I’d forgotten the strings on the puppets... maybe they did not show on a tiny black and white tv? A lovely trip down memory lane for me and a 3 year old boy who loves thunderbirds loves torched too!

Batteries not included
An amazing and bizarre 50s TV series with an eclectic set of characters who burst into song at the drop of a piggle poggle

A hoot
I bought this for my husband, who kept going on about it. I didn't believe him. It is a laugh now, some of the things are really double entendre, I especially like the see-saw and the doll with hairy arms. The dog has a good few lines, - laughed till I weed

Product Review
Classic TV show for my parent as a nostalgia trip. Came a day early but packaging was damaged which isn't the best for a Christmas gift.
