Made well and fun to decorate!
The after school program I work for was doing " A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME!" summer theme. I bought several of these for the kids to paint and decorate as their own private treasure box. They had a great time decorating them and then filling them up with home-made bead necklaces, candy rings and skull stickers! They are made pretty well, no loose hinges and close and lock without a problem. I would buy these again!

Cute as can be!
I love the latch to keep little hands out. The size is perfect for my reading glasses and other do dads I like to keep close to my chair and bedside. These small boxes are well made and have stood up to a toddler using it for their tiny babies. I kept three and gifted three. We all like the unfinished wood so each can be designed to our own preferences.

Great quality for price!
Great quality for a reasonable price. I was looking for something with latches that were not the cheap looking flat gold style and found this. Perfect for small wedding party gifts. Some slight imperfections, but nothing that could not be easily hidden. Plain pine wood was easy to stain and only needed a very light sanding to prep it.

Cute boxes for a craft. Had the girls paint them. Worked out well for what we needed.

The price is a warning, these are super cheap
Depending on your needs these might be perfect for your needs, but understand the price per unit reflects their quality. Four of the six boxes I received had tops that were not tightly attached. One had a hinge that didn't even have all the screws installed. Two boxes had the latching mechanism installed crooked. My point is if you're buying these just to make simple little junk or trinket boxes for yourself, they're probably fine. If you're planning to make gifts for others with them (as I was) you may want to rethink that purchase. If your plan is to make items you'll then sell, I would recommend looking for a higher quality option.

Awesome for story boxes!
These were super easy to paint! Sanding them lightly makes them absolutely perfect! (And when I mean lightly, I mean like it’s barely needed- I was being picky😂) I would definitely buy these again! They are sturdy and well made- nice and light too without being flimsy!
