Range Kleen DP1CP Copper Hooded Dust Pan

have been so frustrated with the current dust pans out there, why do they insist on putting such a huge lip on them?? yes pan is a bit flimsy but I'm not picking up stones with it (if you are you have bigger issues than dust!!) I can usually get everything in one sweep of the broom into the pan....LOVE IT!!!!

Do not recommend this at all.Pros:1. LightweightCons:1. Arrived severely dented2. Metal is thin, like a disposable casserole pan, so a person can effortlessly bend the metal3. Copper color is sprayed on, and only on one side4. Handle is wobbly5. Not durable at all, the plastic crumb edge thing was already coming outI tried to make excuses to designate it as the kids' dust pan, but it wouldn't last two minutes written. Not worth $15, barely worth $1

I prefer a hooded dustpan for in the house, this one is attractive and fits the bill perfectly.

I was so excited about the color of this dustpan to hang in my kitchen. But the plastic edge/lip that pressed against the floor is wavy and super cheap. The dirt sweeps right underneath. It would still be cute hanging in the kitchen but it just doesn’t function well as a dustpan, unfortunately.

I like this style of dust pan better because it actually catches the stuff you are trying to sweep into it. It surprises me that I haven’t seen them anywhere else; meaning regular stores.

This item is made of soft metal & easily bent. Very light weight & cheaply made but it'll do the job.

Like the old school metal design and color, but it was a flimsier thinner gauge medal. Works well though.

In the recent past we have bought more than one dust pan that was useless -- the lip would *not pick up crumbs but send them skittering underneath the pan. Thankfully this is an old fashioned, hard working dust pan that does exactly what it's intended to do -- pick up crumbs and dirt. It's amazing how these humble objects were so well designed a century ago that we still go back to them. This dust pan works!
