ASUS VP228H Gaming Monitor 21.5-inch FHD 1920x1080 1ms Low Blue Light Flicker-Free

I got this to complete my PC build. I've had the monitor for a year, and have experienced no problemsThe monitor is pretty good for the price. It has built in speakers, colors are pretty good, though not perfect, The built in speakers get loud, but lacks a certain frequency....I don't know how to describe it. Like I'll put it on youtube, and the person speaking doesn't seem loud, but when I walk away, I'm surprised I can hear it some distance away.No dead pixels or random shut offs like others have said. I've taken this to 4 LAN parties and still is flawless.Overall, it's a 4 1/2 star monitor. Just the speakers are a bit odd. Granted, it's not going to be an amazing 1440p, 144htz refresh rate. But for the price, it's a great monitor.

This is the go-to monitor for the gamers in my wife's esports club at the college she teaches at. She's the faculty advisor for the esports club and has done an amazing job building the club/team up. She put on a major Smash Bros Ultimate tournament at the college and we needed a second monitor for the main stage setup. This was the monitor our gamers already had one of and highly recommended. Perfect size for Smash. Great price. Great build. Great screen quality.

Before this I used a 80 in TV for gaming and it looked terrible. The monitor is great and me the frame rate, resolution and graphics all look better and pixels are not visible.

I am a big fan of ASUS and I am not disappointed with this monitor. The only issue that I have with the monitor is the built in speakers. The quality isn't all that great but for the price it is acceptable. I would recommend this monitor if you have your own speakers. I bought two of these to use in my triple monitor display, so the sound really isnt that big of an issue.

Short and sweet: I looked for a 1 MS monitor I could use for Smash tournament setups, and I found this one. Worked with everything I threw at it. Great colors, decent built in speakers, everything was great. :)

I love this thing options wise is awesome. 10/10 if it was cheaper menu switch could be better and back curved makes annoying to plug wires

I took a long time to look around for a good monitor that can function for both gaming and general work for my home business. Just got this yesterday (10/7/18) and I am very happy with it. It was packaged well, easy to unbox, and simple to optimize and set up. I will be getting a second one of these shortly for a three monitor set up including my laptop.

Purchased two of these monitors and I'm very pleased with them. I worried buying monitors and having them shipped - but the boxes and packaging kept them very safe and sound. Both were very easy to set up and have options for HDMI, DVi, and VGA hookups. Great deal on an awesome monitor. If you are looking for a budget monitor that still performs well - these are great.
