CYTAC S&W J Frame 2-1/8" Holster, Black

Fits my smith and Wesson airweight 38spl like a glove. Holster is comfortable to wear as well. The tension is good as well and no worries about your firearm falling out

Unfortunately I had to return this item. All I was looking for was a super simple slip on holster that I could wear on the very few times I would choose to open carry. This was rather complicated to 'snap' onto my belt. It acts like a paddle holster but really used plastic molted in such a way to 'pinch' onto where your belt is. Not that it was a bad fit. Just hard to 'snap' the holster into place. Unfortunately, when I then slid in my Smith & Wesson Model 638 AirWeight the holster split down by the trigger guard just like you see in other pictures.

Holster fits my 38 special Smith and Wesson 637. Not a conceal carry holster. You must adjust the locking screw by the trigger guard to fine tune the draw tension or you won't be able to draw at all. I like the audible "click" when the gun is holstered and the 360 degree adjustable paddle. Very comfortable open carry option and for less than $10 bucks!

Great holster. Positive click retention and it’s molded perfectly for my 642 PC. An added bonus that the cant is adjustable through 360 degrees. Can’t beat the price.

Well worth the price. Adjustable release stiffness works well, suggest first insertion at all the way loose. Un-holster/re-holster while tightening in small increments until preferred pull weight reached. Very stiff to slide down onto belt, easier to feed belt through. Wrong direction sheet came with mine but no problem figuring out the 1 adjustment. Continued performance/durability for 10 days straight now. With correct adjusting it only un-holsters when pulled, having shake tested over a cushion with vigor I achieved niche tuning. If you read this far, buy this holster.

I did expect the holster of Cytac for S&W J frame would be fit very much for my M442 because the Cytac holsters for Glock 17 and 19 were perfectly fit, but this doesn't fit very well as shown on photo this time. I need to search the best fit holster again, so it was unfortunately returning.

Great holster for the money. Grips your pants very well and gun retention is excellent and adjustable. I've paid a lot more for lesser holsters.

Great fit , easy to adjust . Half the price of retail stores . Same quality as name brands . Carries comfortably , and secure . Not bulky .
