Our daughter read the first 2 books in this series, and loved them. She has been waiting for this one to become available locally. Needless to say, after a year of not coming to America, we had to order it on Amazon. It came super fast, and is in brand new, excellent condition. Can't wait to see my daughter's face when she opens this on Christmas. Super excited.

Amazing: a great read
Hello, i have made other reviews of INGO, TIDE KNOT, THE DEEP, and now CROSSING!right i am 14 years old and i always love the idea of oceans and swimming, secrets and worlds that only these types of books can paint in your mind - almost as if there real... i adore the books as you already know, and CROSSING is another great book. The storyline plays out beautiful and no what i expected, in fact is was better then what i hoped it would be! Partly because nearly all her time is spent in ingo, and you really begin tp get in her head about elvira and other characters.Everything is so wonderfully written, and some events are amazing and the new friends that she meets are friendly and funny.Overall i love the collection, and at the final page i got a bit emotional - because it was the end, like a goodbye i couldn't read into the future of her life. But that in it's self is magically, it ties in together - everything she has learned into one. Worth my money and my time to read, it was so much more then a book, it was alive reaching out of the page. And everyone that may want these books then please do, i promise that it's perfect to relax to.Thankyou Helen very much i will miss the world under the skin of the sea, and believe me a part of me believes that maybe just maybe Mer are travelling to the bottom of the world! Ironic i look at myself and i have grown up along Sapphy, read the book and you will get the joke x READ

Ingo Book Series
My nine year old daughter was very excited to receive this latest addition to the Ingo Saga. She is rereading the first one before moving on to this one. This is a bedtime ritual with her father reading this series to her every evening. A wonderful, magical world.

my favourite book, but very sad.
this is my favourite book ever! there is a whole lot more than you expect. the description is excellent and anyone who loves complicated characters or the sea in a whole new dimension will also love this book!i reccomend it to anyone aged 10 years to 50 years.i like all the story tremendously except the very sad end (which is definitely not appropriate for children under 8) and i like the dolphin ride bit the most.an amazing read and almost as exciting as doing the crossing of ingo yourself!really worth the money and i reccomend it to mainly 10-15 year-olds. i have read all the series now and i reccomend it all!by Leela aged 8.

Fourth Instalment in Wonderful Mermaid Saga
Originally discovered the Ingo Chronicles when I was looking for a suitable book for my 12 year old Goddaughter. Having read the blurb I then ordered myself a copy and loved it so much, I have since given copies to my niece, my friend's daughter, etc. The Crossing of Ingo is the fourth instalment and doesn't disappoint. Helen Dunmore has a wonderful touch and carries you effortlessly into the believable world of the Mer. If you are looking for a story to capture the imagination of a pre-teen girl, look no further than Ingo. If that girl happens to like mermaids, then you are going to be mighty popular!
