Q: would it be good for carrying trading cards like yugioh or magic the gathering?

I can fit 28 100-card deck boxes in it pretty well. Only real issue, is that when you add that much weight, the handle becomes very uncomfortable to carry.

Q: How deep is this case ?

Bottom is 3 1/2" 1 1/2" top . if you removed the tool palette you can get 5" of depth.

Q: I was wanting to use this to keep some clothes in my truck. Are the insert columns and rows that is in the cases removable?

Hi. The partitions are more like walls with slots in them. You can pull them all out and use the inside as one single compartment or arrange the partitions into "walls" and make compartments of different sizes. And they are strong. I'm using mine as a pistol case for three guns, carried vertically when the case is carried by the handle. I hope this helps you. PJB
