A five-string bass adds a low B string in addition to the standard bass strings of E, A, D and G

From lowest string to highest, it is tuned B-E-A-D-G

These bass guitars will likely need to be tuned after opening the package. Changes in humidity and temperature can affect the tuning and it will at least need some tuning out of the box.

Can i string it eadgc instead of beadg?

You can put whatever strings/ tuning that you want, it may be a little sloppy though, as the nut is sized for the standard 5 string tuning with the low B string. Do not get this bass unless you have plans to replace the pickup as the stock one is garbage. I dropped an EMG active pickup in mine and it sounds great. Total cost after the pickup was about 320$
