God said, "let there be 'Merica," and this pack was made. And it was good.
I am a meticulous shopper, and do a lot of price hunting and product research before buying stuff, especially online. I'm saying this because I've been an Amazon shopper for many years now, and it is this bag that receives the 'honor' of my first review. The best way I describe this backpack is that it must be the amazing bastard child of an M1 Abrams Tank and The Star Spangled Banner.I hook up my Nalgene water bottles to the carabiners, my folding smaller scissors to the retractable cord, and my leatherman to the quick-access pouch for the needle-nose pliers. There are many other straps and locations to easily attach gear, which is essential if you are someone like me that likes to carry an entire Cabelas store on my back whenever I go fishing. If you are a minimalist, then the many solidly built pockets on the sides, front, and top work fine as well. Back support is perfect, padding everywhere is thick and seems VERY durable, which is a top priority for me since my family goes on canoe camping trips in Canada for multiple weeks at a time, and we need equipment that can take a beating by Mother Nature (or a whiskey-inspired me when fishing at dusk or more commonly whenever we take on a tough portgage) and still be functional. The LED light and the glasses case on the top are nice 'extra' features that work as intended and importantly don't distract from the core function of the backpack (I say this because lots of modern camping gear insists on adding so many extra 'bells and whistles' that it actively disrupts the primary function of that piece of gear). Everything about this backpack is simple and functional. Finally, this pack gets extra bonus points because it will make me look like the most bad-ass fisherman on the lake, which will hopefully distract people from my total inability to catch fish.My only regret is that I only own 6 knives worthy of being stored/clipped on to my new fishing pack.

This is just an amazing
I was looking to buy a new box, so happy I decided to invest into this one. They really did a great job at designing this thing and thinking it through, and I don't think they completely advertised all the features they put into it. The only downside I found - it is a bit too heavy for a backpack of that size. Other than that - it is absolutely awesome! The light they designed for example - I didn't think I would use it a lot (I always carry my headlight), but in the summer with tons of bugs around that bite my face - It was really helpful to use the CLC backpack light instead to change the lures. They have loops all over the backpack, front and back, that I used to hang my lipgrip, and even when wade acrsoss the weeds with the backpack on my back - they have loops right on the backpack straps, so my lipgrip is easily reachable and would never fall in the water. Sidepockets - perfect size for unopened soft lures bags, especially scented ones - like Gulps The top compartment - although appears to be small - I keep fit extra boxes with leaders, end tackle components, my fishing reel, spare socks, snacks, fillet knife. The compartment for documents - absolutely genius, and I also keep my lighter in there. The top compartment for googles - really useful, because I carry my fav lures in there for quick-change and I'm not afraid to smash or crack them.

Where has this been all my fishing life
I really struggled with pulling the trigger on this pack. I liked it but couldn’t decide if it is worth that much for a backpack. I finally pulled the trigger and am wondering why I waited so long. This is the best backpack I have ever seen far less owned for fishing. It is solid. It’s well built. It’s has storage galore. If you are hesitant, don’t be. It’s absolutely amazing. I saw so,e people say that it won’t stand up without the trays in...not sure what they were seeing. It stands up great. No issue at all. The pack actually exceeded my expectations and those were pretty high. The only two knocks on it that I could have is 1) the zippers are a bit stiff. I am hoping that is because it’s new and they will loosen with time. 2) it is a tad on the heavy side. If I was planning on using this to hike miles into a stream or pond I might second guess that. However I got this as an alternative to the annoying milk crate on the back of my kayak and I am ecstatic.

The end of the tackle box
So much more convenient than carrying a tackle box. Has so much storage was able to combine two tackleboxes into this one and carry everything at once. Also love the cooler pouch, add a cold pack and keep worms and a soda cold all day! Love the extra features like the removable pliers/clippers and the built in rain hood. This bag is really well thought out and really well built.

Very well made and worth every penny!
Quality of the pack seems second to none. The pack looks like it might out live me! Very happy with it. It will be very useful on my BWCA trips for years to come. The only knock I have is that I wish they would have put a speaker on it so you can connect your phone to it to play music like some of their other/bigger products have.

Wow....best fishing backpack.
I got my Wild River Nomad fishing backpack and I am extremely happy with this product. The quality is superb and it doubles as my hunting backpack. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a fishing / hunting backpack. There are a huge variety of backpacks in the market, but this one is built to last a very long time. You definitely get what you pay for......the best. Worth every dollar I spent on it.

Great price and great quality.
I got this on amazon $100 cheaper than it is at cabela's. I was a little hesitant because the price including tray boxes was half the price of getting it without them. So I ordered with the tray boxes even though the description said they were 3500 size boxes, they actually came as 3600 size, which is the correct size to fit in the lower part of the bag. Looks like great quality and really like all the compartments. This will be much easier than carrying the tackle box I have and it will fit more gear.
