CAN A SMALLER ROLLER BE USED WITH THIS SYSTEM ?

Yes, you can purchase the trim sized roller head & adapter to use with this.... you can also get a trim pad, corner pad, and a few other things. I just placed an order over the phone with Wagner yesterday for these parts... it was super quick & easy. Does anyone know how this product compares to the Wagner Smart Power Roller?  Which is better or easier to use?

Both use the same roller and handle so for the paint application part, they are the same for ease-of-use, neither better nor worse.  The difference between the two systems is in how and to what size paint container they connect.  I have both and I use the Smart Side Kick more than the Smart Power roller because the Smart Power roller connects to a ONE Gallon paint can while I can use the Smart Side Kick with a ONE or FIVE gallon container.  I use the power roller for painting large rooms, so it is always more than one gallon.  The Smart Side Kick allows me to paint the entire room from the same container connection without having to stop and swapout one gallon paint cans, so Smart Side Kick is better for ease-of-use when having to use more than one gallon of paint.   Clean-up for both systems is not quick nor simple...more paint wasted than I'd like, but the time saved painting large rooms makes it worth it.  I use a regular roller and brush for painting requiring one gallon or less because the amount of paint wasted in the power roller system cuts the coverage area for one gallon.
