A.C. Quintero doesn't disappoint. Another great read for Spanish language learners that doesn't feel like a "learners" novel. My heritage speakers and level 3s love it.

The story was interesting and the vocabulary kept at a sufficiently simple level with enough challenge not to make it too easy.

Incredible histories

Excellent addition to my classroom library.

This book does not contain a complete story; it is apparently part of a sequel. This novela does not have an ending, and leaves the reader hanging. Very interesting read, though, and I am looking forward to buying the sequel. Twists of teenage love, jealousy, and something scary happening in the basement. This novel is in a contemporary format that should engage student readers, but it would be a difficult read for my Spanish III classes. I would give it 5 stars for content, but I rated it only 4 stars because it does not have an ending (I still don't know what is going on in the basement...)
