Iris Cat Litter Box Scoop, One Size, Grey

Unfortunately, I have an elderly 'vertical, high peeing' cat and was getting sick fed up of lining my walls with puppy pads. This is the highest sided tray I could find. It's not perfect however as it's a little small length wise (my cat's about 4kg) but she doesn't find this a problem. The urine does leak out of the join as well. Having read previous reviews, I sealed the join on the inside with brown parcel tape (I tried on the outside and it still leaks). This works brilliantly. The only downside is that I personally like to change the parcel tape once a week as it starts to smell a little. I did consider using sealant but had concerns about the smell over time and the colour it would go (likening this to seal around a bath etc). Anyway, changing the parcel tape is a lot easier than replacing puppy pads every day (I used to sellotape them to the wall). So far it's completely solved the problem. The only other slight issue is the design at the back of the tray - it's indented which can make it difficult to get the used litter out (I use clumping). Overall it has made a massive difference and I now no longer have any accidents to clean up. She did pee out of the front of the tray once but I always double up puppy pads there anyway. Good tray but I wish the joints were sealed

This is GREAT, stops the cat kicking the litter across the room and still accessible open top for scooping, well worth the price for my sanity.. I was tempted to buy an enclosed one with a flap but so glad I went for this as is minimal faff for topping up litter and can still see if its being used for number 1’s or 2’s Easy to assemble and to take back apart for deep cleaning. The split colour / white top helps it not be so eye catching in the room! Scoop is a standard plastic scoop but does have a nice hook on the back so can be stored hanging off the tray, I would recommend investing in a metal one as I don't think any plastic scoops are made to last Would 100% recommend

Solid litter tray, does the job, and looks tidy. But the top? Let’s just say it’s playing hard to get—it doesn’t click into place as securely as I’d like. Thankfully, it stays put and doesn’t pull a disappearing act. A good buy overall, but not perfect.

My (large) cat has so far only used this tray. The old one is abandoned and I don’t want to jinx it but so far, no poops outside the tray either! If this continues, I may get rid of the second entirely. This is large enough to hold a whole bag of litter, meaning fewer top ups. So far it is the best litter tray I’ve bought (I’ve bought many over the years to try to put an end to this pooping outside of the tray problem). Fingers crossed this great experience continues!

excellent quality still using it now

OK we have 3 cats and up until recently only 2 litter trays, which hadn't been a big problem but it was starting to become an issue. So not having a lot of room we bought a wooden box designed to put a litter tray into. Again this worked up to a point, one of our cats doesn't really squat when weeing and was managing to wee over the back of the tray, as a stop gap we put puppy pads in place. SO after a quick check with a tape measure I ordered this, the front lip isn't too high so they can still access the wooden box it's in through the door easily and it's stopped one of them scraping litter out of the box for no apparent reason. Also solved the problem of our cat weeing over the side of the box, It looks good, the scoop works well and all is good, for the price well worth it.

I have a normal size of this if fact I have had a few I find them great to stop the spray of litter We have Devon Rex they have odd toes so litter goes for miles ! I was rather surprised this tray is huge Good clip on top x sturdy plastic It definitely is great for our 1/2 main coon! Rather hard to carry with litter in, so need help washing x changing

This cat tray was better than I expected, I have always had an enclosed cat tray but my new kitten does not seem to like them and he had outgrown his kitten tray, the high side help to retain the litter to the tray, it does not stop it coming out completely but it all depends if your cat is a kicker!! Mine is!, it is made of thick sturdy plastic, easy to empty and clean and will be big enough for him as he grows

I like the high sides as it keeps things clean. It is big but not giant. It is sturdy. I like the no lid as my cat has medical problems and has to often wear a cone so this is still accessible to him. It is the best litterbox at this price range imo. I recently replaced my other litterbox with this one as I was happy with the first purchase I made a couple years back. It has held up really well. I like that it comes with a free scooper as well. It has big holes which is great for me since I use pelts.

I like it but it does have corners in the front that are hard to scoop wet litter out of. That’s the only thing. Otherwise great and nice high sides. And not expensive!

A little hard to make the "wall" stay on at first but once I got it to stay in place - no more litter on the floor! And big enough for a big adult cat. Very pleased with my purchase, I highly recommend.
