Great quality (made in Japan) and not expensive, great for removing stripped screws and bolts. I have bought other Engineers product ( micro cutters and needle nose pliers).

Don't be surprised by plastic handle slips and too much play in the jaw. They didn't looked trustworthy to me. I even had to replace the first pair, second wasn't much an improvement. But man, they really work! Others I've tried do not compete with them. I was surprised more experience Vampliers locking pliers made by same company failed on the first try (slipped and got a worn teeth). On the other hand, Engeneers have no signs of wear after dozens of jobs. The jaw looks like brand-new and really locks in without slippage. I had no problem removing deck screws with snapped hands or securing rusted car bushing.

These are wonderful pliers. The grips and overall size are perfect. The jaws are aligned perfectly, and have an enormous grip strength. They don’t have the typical lever to release the jaws, but they do have a hex bolt/pin on the bottom that you can use to tighten or loosen the pin way more easily than most pliers like this. All you need is your 4mm hex key or 4mm screwdriver and you’re set.

The Pliers work well for their main stated task ie. Screw removal and Vise grip. Also mentioned on the packing is the function of steel wire cutting (1.6 mm). This cutting function is achieved by a cutting edge against a flat anvil. However, when the Jaw tips are fully engaged and locked, there is a noticeable gap between the cutting edges, which merely notches a wire and does not cut it. Since Engineer is a Japanese make and, I thought, would ensure a high Quality Control for a product bearing their name, I ignored the 1 and 2 star reviews on amazon and ordered it despite high cost.Well I'm disappointed. I am hoping I can get a fully functional pair of pliers because I do need one of this type.17 June '22. Amazon has, very kindly, sent me a replacement. This too, is exactly the same. I guess the entire batch was of 🍋s OR the design is flawed. Which ever it is, I'm disappointed with the brand.Amazon though, continues to shine. Thanks

these do the job as advertised. this would be my 2nd pair of Engineer screw removal pliers and they have proven extremely useful. they are small - 185mm is just over 7 inches, they apparently do not come in the 10 inch size, like other standard vise-grips. also, the lack of the quick-release lever is not a personal preference of mine. small grievances in the grand scheme of things, and otherwise they are worth it.

No release spoon to help in the release of the pliers for those very strong grips. The release of these seems very odd without the spoon and not sure how long they will last . I'll update if tends to fail or lasts.

マンションのトイレの戸当たりが壊れたので、外して新しいものを取り付けようとしたところ、ネジがあまりに固く締め付けられていた上に、戸当たりはドア上部のため、天井との間が20cmほどしかなく、普通のドライバーでは上から押し付けるということが出来ずになかなか抜けませんでした。色々調べてネジザウルスを使うのが良いらしいということで購入しました。かなり苦戦しましたが、これで何とか外すことができました。余談ですが、新しく購入した戸当たりについていた取り付け用のネジは２cmなのに、外したネジは何でこんなに？というほど長いネジ（4cmくらい）で、取り付けた人はきっと丁度良いネジを切らして、たまたま手元にあったネジを使ったのかと思いました。そんなネジも外すことができて助かりました。

頭の丸いセムスネジや、頭の低い低頭ネジでもしっかり咥えれるので安心感がある。バイスなので、ロック後は手の力を緩められるのが良い。

風呂場の水道管部を覆うカバーをとめたネジ蓋がプラで埋まった錆びたネジを外す為に購入。ネジのある場所が狭く、何度も噛ませながら無事に外す事ができました。そんな場所、中々無いから価格を見て購入に躊躇したけど、無事に外せて内部の滑りを綺麗にできたから買って良かったと思ってます。

がっちりつかめます！ただ、自分がこれを買おうと思った原因のなめたネジには効果なかったですが...
