This a great deal! Lowe's didn't have the spool covers in house and advised going on the Worx website. We found these listed on Amazon and ordered them befoee we even left the store. We now not only have extra spool covers but extra spools as well. Pleased with product and price. Whacker/edger back in working order.

the cap that goes on the spindle wears out and needs to be replaced from use of weed eater. great to have spools already threaded saves time, and its's hard to get the string rounded tight.

Great Deal

These spools work perfect with the VARSK trimmer also. When I asked the Amazon AI if these were compatible with the VARSK trimmer it said these were not. I had kept the empty spools to my VARSK trimmer and I purchased these for the line only, thinking I was going to have to spool the line from these to my VARSK spools. When I opened the box, the spools matched PERFECTLY and I used them today in my VARSK, they worked perfectly, the spools are identical and I even think the line in these are BETTER than the VARSK and the price is great.

Since the day I ordered these and unfortunately two other boxes these spools would slide into the head (where the spool is inserted) with some friction and they should have had none. I noticed that the auto feed would not work on my Worx WG163.8 grass trimmer and thought it was the trimmer. After manually having to advance the string way to frequently I got a bit pissed off. My trimmer eventually gave up the ghost and I got a new one and it came with a Worx spool installed so I decided to measure the tolerances of the OEM spool and the aftermarket spools. Should have known the cheap aftermarket spools would not meet the correct tolerances. The inside diameter of the head was 1.6375 in. and the outside diameter of the aftermarket spool was 1.6395 and another spool was 1.6440. Larger than the head they were cheaply designed to fit into. The original OEM spool O.D. was lower at 1.6035 and feeds perfectly. ALSO, the string/line on the OEM spool is .075 in. and the cheap spool line is .065. Doesn't sound like much but that much cross section difference on the line is huge. You'll use less line and less spools. I also found that the aftermarket line looked like it had manufacturing defects like little nicks in the line that made the line break easier every 3-4 advances of the line. I can't prove that it was engineered or manufactured deliberately defective but it would cause a customer to have to buy line more often and that just means more profits. All that to say DON'T BUY THESE AND IF YOU DO THEN MIC THEM OUT AND RETURN THEM IMMEDIATELY IF THEY DO NOT FIT CORRECTLY!!!!

This is a better deal than Worx. Functional, adjustable, easy to install. Light weight. You get extra caps with these.

Fazit: Passgenaue und langlebige Rasentrimmerspulen mit sauberem Schnittergebnis. Für meinen Worx Rasentrimmer eine sehr gute Alternative zum Original und absolut empfehlenswert.
