I think we have a lack of quality books in areas like Tajweed. This book is beautifully written, very well presented and colourful but the best thing about it is the way it is structured. Often in books like this, I feel like rules are just written one after another without a proper structure or outline.What I would recommend if you get this book is to glance through the whole book to get a feel of it, to build a structure in your mind first, before going into each chapter to study in-depth. Perhaps people find Tajweed hard because the rules aren't organised in their head and so it feels confusing. What this book does is organises it in your head and makes the field far simpler to study, and enjoyable. It's also a a thin, well spaced-out book so doesn't take long to go through at all and is therefore not daunting to simply pick up and start, but obviously it's a book you'd want to go through more than once.Also, the book is written in good, professional English. Rules are written separately in 'Rule' boxes for each chapter, so you don't necessarily have to read through the whole chapter to refresh/revise rules. There are also plenty of practice verses taken from the Qur'an. Of course, there is no substitute for having a real teacher to listen to, and to be listened to and corrected, but I think this would be a brilliant material to study with a teacher.In conclusion, for the adult/literate learner, this is a fantastic Tajweed book mashaAllah.

It helped my daughter learn tajweed easily, not like the hard ways that we have been showed before. We found that it helped her a lot with what she was struggling on.
