UPDATE The gift recipient and his mother took three hours to assemble this (child is 8), but the child is so pleased with it that the parents want to purchase more of this type of toy. Good choice, happy child, impressed parents! I am unable to review this, as it was a gift and I haven't had feedback on whether the youngster liked it or not.

This was a Christmas present for a 11 year old day-care boy who is very very good w engineering type things. He absolutely loved the gift but between his adhd and the constant shaking of his hands he really struggled getting some of the red bolt things in. He gave up at the end - it still looked like a hot Rod though and he was proud of it and couldn't wait to show his mom. He was asking for the helicopter next and his mom asked me about it so I imagine she'll get it for him. I rarely ever have to explain instructions to him or have to help him with anything and I had to help him w the red bolt things in a couple places because he was getting stressed and frustrated. He had quite a few extra pieces and he saved those to add to his building tool chest at him that he and his dad are putting together for him. Price is outstanding - just be prepared to help if needed.

My son whose only 7 was SO excited to see this and immediately opened it to get started building. He loves LEGO’s but this is more intricate and challenging, he’s so proud of himself as am I as it’s not only entertaining but educational! I’ll definitely be buying him more!

This was a gift for my friend's child. My frustration begun with my first order to another company that was a joke, because they send me a little plastic bag with mini legos that I was feeling really bad to give it to him as a present. Then, I order this toy to 3 bee & me, that not only came in a period of two days after I order it, but on time to give the present to my friend's kid and that make feel good. They were sending messages to keep me update on the way my order was coming, they make all the efforts for my order came on Sunday. Later on they send a message asking if I was in need of help to build my toy, that was great from their part. I am really happy that I found this company!!!

I got this gift for a family in need and felt very good about purchasing it as it is both fun and educational. It was very fairly priced, imo, for all this little child will be getting. Delivery was on time and the packaging was perfect. I felt very good about passing it on as a gift!

I wanted to get a bonus present for my nephew. It was my nieces birthday but I wanted to get him something small but fun that didn’t cost a lot of money and wouldn’t just break or get tossed to the side. This was the perfect gift. It’s creative, nice looking, entertaining, and affordable.

Parts are to small and institutions are horrible! Seat part was also missing from the box. Our son was so frustrated that both of us parents put it together within one hour. putting together and taking apart to redo. We also omitted the red and yellow plastic pieces as they were ridiculously hard and waste of time.
