Just made a tamale pie with this brand corn meal✔️ turned out fantastic. I used an egg and water to make a fluffy corn tamale with peppers and cheese. Texture fabulous. Great value. No gluten and puffiness from bread, for me. Versatile use,,, pancakes, tamales, tortilla,and corn bread. Having a big bag of it can take one through… meaning great to store for emergency. Just sayin’😉Tastes like it should, corny.

I live in and Grew up in the South, so I've made and eaten my fair share of cornbreads, corncakes, corn tortillas, and food of all manners dipped in corn batter and fried.BUTThis is a game changer. :)Bought to make corn tortilla, 'cause what else are you going to do during lockdown in a global pandemic when the stores go months without flour? The tortillas were good, but the cornbread we make the next week had us perking up and then this transformed a version of blackberry johnnycakes into fluffy, bright, almost delicate but satisfying delights. Highly recommend
